Whoa......that's the most convoluted, confusing explanation of "boi" i've ever read. (no offense to you, gemmie and sassysexygirl, just repeating the Google definition).
Let's see, this is how Google explains "Boi":
1. submissive butch in the lesbian BDSM community.
2. Young butch in the Butch-Femme community
3. Term of endearment for Butches by Femmes in the Butch-Femme community
4. Young appearing, or relatively young bi-sexual or gay males, especially those with effeminite characteristics, within the Gay community
5. A term used by anyone who wishes to distinguish themselves from heterosexual or heteronormative identities
6. A term commonly used by those who are female-to-male transgendered.
Then the definitions get a bit tricky:

8. Refers to "bois" who identify as feminine, female, girl or woman and sometimes identify as lesbians, dyke or queer.

Bois may perfer a range of pronouns including "he", "she", then the gender neutral pronouns of "hir", "sie", "zie",and "ey" (And being from the Butch-Femme community for some 31 years, may i also add, "hy" and "shye").
Wow.......that's some list of definitions. Seems like the only ones NOT called "boi" are the Femmes from the lesbian world and Butches from the Gay world. But wait!!........if you just happen to want to distinguish yourself from the heterosexual and/or heteronormative identities, regardless if one is a (lesbian) Femme or a (gay) Butch then you, too, could be called "boi".
Well, this makes it all clear!.......as mud!........ROFL........lolol.......
