Now ,Paul Wellstone was one super guy.
It will be hard to fill his shoes.

Paul Wellstone ,RIP.

No matter if I agreed with his political stances or not (sometimes did, sometimes not), I believe he was a genuinely good man.

I'm wondering should he get elected will he try to force his own "agenda" down the throats of his constituents or, will he actually LISTEN to his constituents and vote the way (they) want him to vote?
I don't know why senators and congressmen think they're "leaders", they're not, these are "Messenger" positions.
The People put them in office to do our bidding.
Anytime I hear a politician say that they're, "going to vote my conscience" they need to resign right then and there as they've broken the bond with The People.

I imagine  he'll be very liberal...... now, is Minnesota the same?  That's the question.

Level, that's what I mean, he can have his own opinions but he needs to vote on his constituents opinions.

That would be pretty difficult for any politician, since they all represent diverse constituencies.  No matter how they vote on any issue, they're going to make some of their constituents happy and others angry.

I'd prefer that our elected officials vote based on their own opinions rather than toeing the party line.  That was one of the things that made Paul Wellstone so well-respected even though he was rather far to the left - he did what he thought was right, not what his party wanted him to do.
