Well we changed from being one of the most advanced, respected, even revered countries in the world to becoming the largest debtor, and most frivolous consumer with a government full of war criminals.

So it is obvious that change is not always good.

No.   By nature humans are a creature of habit.  Greed and status HAS resulted in some good improvements.  The supposition is that we all agree on the details of what-ever "change" is- the context.

When Hillary says change- it sounds worn out.  when an young, hip, agile, basketball player says he can guild the ball.  who   do you want clontrolling the ball?

Change is constant unless you buy something from Harrods.

I Believe change is Good.

Also if change means someone having to change their lifestyle, well then they might not like it?

It depends upon what  you are referring to Knees.  Sometimes change is good and sometimes it is very bad.

I think it's because for many, this word means 'to give up something'. Change your behavior, change the way you talk to someone, change the way you work, change the way you live your life....in most instances it almost means giving up something. And let's face it, when it comes to 'giving up something', most of us will fight against it, even if it means for the better.

It could be good, it could be bad but without defining what change means, the people touting it shouldn't be trusted and people believing change is necessary without asking what change means, get what they deserve.

just to be an ass...here's something that will stick in your head now LOL

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.

Maybe we've all misunderstood... so just in case..

In Britain change is a hard word and many people are frightened of change.

Why? Well it's not just all those 1p and 2p coins you acquire (I mean why bother? The cheapest thing you can buy now is a box of matches made in Slovakia for 20p) but other coins.

Take £1 coins for instance.

You're there, on your way to work, going to buy the Guardian or the Telegraph newspaper, and you get in the queue at Mr Patel's newsagent, and just as you're second in line, you realise you've only got a £20 note.

What now? Do you stick your hand out for a Twix or a Mars bar, buy 20 cigarettes, or do the pervy thing of a rapid side-step for Razzle, Fiesta or Miss Sadie Stern's Monthly from the top shelf? You decide not to bother, just get the newspaper and leave.

Mr Patel takes the £20 note, opens the till, and says ..."Sorry mate/darling [bruv in West London] I've got no banknotes. Will pound coins do?"

Oh sure, all 19 of them plus the 20p coin change.

Change is a hard word for some bus companies 'EXACT FARE ONLY'

Then you get beggars in Central London, "Spare some loose change please?"

And then you have the following situation:
