Mr. Ward had been treasurer of the national Republican committee since 2003. He had also been a partner in a private campaign consulting firm, Political Compliance Services, that gained notice in the 2004 presidential campaign because of its work on behalf of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a group that ran advertisements that criticized the military record of Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, the Democratic presidential nominee.

Ya know when people are so moraly bankrupt to win at any cost ( on either side of the isle...) and have no idea what morals are.. and you as a group are still willing to deal with them and then think they wont screw you over because you are buddy buddy... *just shakes her head* you have really got to step back and think that Karma happens.

Just like the all of the Political and Religious leaders who are anti gay who's boyfriends and drug dealers keep stepping up to the media.. ( or that wide stance guy..) Eventualy the truth does come out...

It is like a little Hug from Jesus each time someone corrupt gets busted.

The RCCC is missing millions but they're still spending a whole lot of money on TV ads for the IL 14th special election. This despite the fact the Chicago Tribune, almost never endorses a Democrat for major office, has endorsed the Democrat because his opponent "has consistently been nasty, smug, condescending ... and dishonest."
