The man who founded The Weather Channel, a meterologist, states that Al Gore should be sued and forced to testify under oath concerning his beliefs about global warming. John Coleman who founded the network in 1982 slams Al Gore and the global warming alarmists by calling the phenomenon "a fraud." Coleman spoke at the 2008 International Conference on Climate change along with Lord Christopher Monckton, who was a policy advisor to Margaret Thatcher. Yeah right, I'm sure Al Gore, recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, is fucking terrified that... wait, who is it again? Can't imagine a silly meteorologist knowing more about climate than the High Priest of global warming, er, cooling, I mean, "climate change." After all, His Highness wrote a book and a movie. That buys lots of indulgences, I mean, "carbon credits" as his fig leaf for spewing tons of "climate change" into the atmosphere via his houses, planes and SUV's while his adoring fans prostate themselves. Tell the weatherman that he needs to learn his place in the new world heirarchy.

Wow.....That's rather interesting on your part kitten. Why did you feel it was important to respond as you did. While I'm more than sure that we "humans" are not the best at preserving your natural world and that we haven't been keeping it clean as I agree we should, I'm not completely sold on all this conjecture that we alone as a species are responsible for the warming of our planet. I would like to know why it's happening and if we all are going to need a big boat at some point. Is there a chance that the Earth's orbit of the sun is lessening at rather small rates and that is also a problem? I don't know, I'm just askin'. I do think we must keep improving the quality of our water, air and other natural properties. We did make a mess of these things and at that we can do a great deal of corrective action. I just can't help but keep wondering who heated things up when the Earth pulled out of the Ice Age. But I'm kind of a dummy, I don't know all these biological things. Some people are a bit confused about the earth's atmosphere..........especially the global warming freaks. Remember when we all had to buy a new car , or pay $100. to change our a/c's from one form of freon to another?? Does anyone believe we, on this planet are CARBON-based life forms?? Back to the atmosphere........99.03% is composed of nitrogen and oxygen!!!!!!!!! CO2(carbon dioxide) comprises .038% (.00038 total atmospheric gasses) a minuscule amount. There is no possible way that man-made emissions (such as breathing, we exhale carbon dioxide!!!) can affect global climate change through " carbon credits" nor any other way , for that matter!! Yes, global climatic changes DO occur............and MAN has absolutely No CONTROL !! We humans give ourselves way too much credit for being able to control the atmospheric conditions!! If we could truly influence the climate, there would be no droughts, no floods, no ice storms, no tornadoes, no tsunamis, no blistering hot days, no freezing......no discomfort at all!!!!!!!! Yet we claim to be able to affect the atmosphere in it's totality??!! That's foolishness!!!!!

im sick of this issue. BUT clean the fricken air so i can friicken breathe in my own home!! we never addressed acid rain....it fades car paint. i am serious about the diesel fumes that seep into my house. it is like being stuck in traffic all day long. about 10pm is stops due to people not being on the road. ild rather be blissfully happy then doomed. im waery of the doom factory. and media manipulation, and the politics of fear. but most of all- i want to breath w/o my lungs hurting

Im not sure who to stand with John Coleman who founded the Weather channel (whose meterologists have yet to be wrong) and kinda knows what he is talking about. Or Gore who claimed to have invented the internet (actually first done by a group of college tech proffessors, then world wide by some other guy I forget his name) and got a Nobel Prize for telling us about Global Warming in 2006-2007 something which I knew about back in 1995 (I was 10 years old for pete's sake) and Scienists have know about since the 80s. Way to take credit for other peoples hard work Al. I think Im gonna go with the NASA Guys who have known since the mid 50s that this (Global Warming) is caused buy the Sun entering its Hot phase and will cool down in another 40 years or so. Go NASA

Well let's see, The Weather Channel once belonged to Ted Turner/CNN but has since been sold off to a conservative owned media conglomerate so why would it be surprising at all that a representative of that venue comes out against the idea of man-made climate change? Every time I hear someone debunking the idea that man can change the environment I think about how the Cayuhoga River just burst into flames naturally because we all know how flammable natural river water can be. It's not a question of whether or not man can change the environment, but rather one of how much damage have we already done?

Point #1 any reasearch at all would have revealed that he FOUNDED and then a year later was removed as CEO of TWC, (Pre Ted Turner) and MANY MANY MANY years before it was bought from Ted. So your assumptions used for spin fail the basic having the facts straight test. He is no longer affiliated with TWC. So the charges of partisanism are based on what again? The fact that in the 80's he founded a channel acted as CEO of r a year and that somehow 20+ years later after 3 or 4 changes in ownership it taints his opinion????????????? When Joe speaks of climate change he's comming at it as a scientist a degreed Meteorologists of 40+ years experience. When Al speaks of climate change he's comming at it as an activist with no scientific credencial of his own. I don't make the claim that global warming does not have a component of human influence I am however skeptical of the ammount activists want to drop at our feet. BTW even if global climate change is disproven it does not mean that I am for spewing out pollution, There are enough micro effects of pollution to warrant a change in the energy sources we use.
