I'm glad to have found this community; I am a dom, although I enjoy the control aspect as much if not more than the sexual side of things. I have military leadership experience, and this in no small way contributed to my enjoying power over others.
I'm straight, and enjoy working with submissive girls. I've had one very good experience with a sub, although that ended because of reasons beyond either of our power.
I don't believe in power tripping as a Dom (I absolutely despise the men that try to flaunt power needlessly, as though they're proving to themselves that they're in control) but am in no way lax. I believe that as a dom you need to be a father, husband, and authority figure all rolled into one. Slaves are very needy, especially in the ways they don't communicate with you.
