I think the implication that it was a drug referance was a joke, there are a hell of a lot of shy retiring Doms with names such as MasterofCuffs MasterDomSir YourLordandMaster all of which kinda makes you roll your eyes, just as yours does I think that was the point, though I may be completely misreading the irony

People are always going to think you're too young, too old, too dominant, too whatever. My solution? Don't play with those people.

Hmm. Good point. I don't try to boast though. I find it to be in bad taste and a bit tacky. It's the Only SN I could establish that was appropriate to my being and without using my real name. It might have been worse had I just left it as HighOne. Either way I expect this type of misunderstanding with My handles. I thinnk in all aspects, you try and be creative with your SC. Some give up and use their real name. As I was almost a victim of ID Theft I'm no longer keen on flinging my name to the masses. So I chose something that described who I am, even though it is commonly misunderstood.

MHO, Take it from someone who was 16 when he decided he was a Dom and called himself Master This-n-that. You will alwyas be your age and your age is what many will see. Show that you are more than your age show that you are experienced in the things you do and show that you are skilled in doing them. Never take it personally because you will deal with it for the next 20 years all you can do is find what makes you happy and do it. It will be lonely at times as age for some is a deal breaker but then there will be times when it all comes together and make sense. As Always Steel

i'm 40 years old, and one of my play partners is 24. i don't know you, but i can say that it IS possible for a young Dominant to be competent in his or her skill sets. all i can say is just keep a positive, confident attitude, and remain open to continuing to learn (i personally don't believe anyone is ever finished learning all there is to know), and you will find "s" types to complement your "D" type. best of wishes on your journey!
