ORIGINAL: Level That story makes it official, for me: the Clinton campaign is the worst one I can remember. What a clusterfuck, and it makes me oppose the idea of her and her crew in the White House even more. I remember reading a Tom Dickenson report on the Democratic campaign advisors. These people basically get rich telling the candidate to run TV ads (which have limited value) that they get a percentage of, and making recommendations based on sketchy poll numbers, and doing things like trying to muffle Al Gore's (for example) record on the environment (his biggest positive) because it was deemed unpopular with voters. Slicky Willy Clinton came into office bringing campaign advisors from outside the beltway who did a good job, and every Democrat since then has gone with those recommended by the party apparatchiks. Every Democrat since then has lost. As various posters have pointed out, the next election is the Democrats to lose, not the Republican's to win. I suspect Clinton is faring so poorly because she was expected to win, and she took the party advisors to help her win the primaries. Now she is going the way of all the previous Democratic losers. I only hope that Obama doesnt change campaign staff after he finishes pounding Billary's coffin nails in next week. Sinergy
