dollparts85 -> Birth control problems. (2/28/2008 3:22:59 PM)

I'm nearly half way through my 4th pack of Yasmin and I'm having break through bleeding AGAIN...I had my period for 3 weeks last pack and it just stopped about a week ago and I'm bleeding again. Normally it wouldn't bother me that much but on this pill, I have really really bad cramping. Normally I don't get cramps at all. Should I call my ob/gyn and ask for a different pill (I've tried 4 different pills now) or just wait it out and hope my body gets used to the pill? How long does it normally take to stop break through bleeding?

ok, well at least that is not a issue. if it was me i call the doctor and talk them. it can't hurt to do that. see what they say and go from there if you switch meds. i had period every two weeks and that is i  figured something was wrong. that is why is asked about pcos.

You ask questions on a BDSM board about gynecological problems but neglect to see your own gynecologist? Don't you think you should see an expert and not a load of perves on a BDSM site. Domi, I know that you aren't a perve, I mean the rest of us.

LOL I actually took a pregnancy test at my ob/gyn like two weeks ago b/c I was worried I was pregnant and miscarrying or something b/c the cramping was so bad...thank God it was negative.

I just saw my ob/gyn like two weeks ago and she wasn't concerned at all...I figured it would stop with my next pack..and it did..for a week...*sighs* I just figured most women here would be experienced with birth control seeing as it is a sexually based board.

tigerlilly34 -> RE: Birth control problems. (2/28/2008 4:11:20 PM)

thank goodness you didnt have to deal with that issue

one would thing that will the crap you do and "know" you'd realize your lifestyle messes up your hormones and cycles... something I doubt yasmin has the qualifications to fix (would is why logically, you have had issues with the last four birth control pills you've been on.)

I doubt your reproductive issues have anything to do with the pill and everything to do with the fact that you have anxiety and eating disorders.

tigerlilly34 -> RE: Birth control problems. (2/28/2008 4:13:46 PM)

i have heard of that but usually there is a  problem going on for alll the bleeding.

dollparts85 -> RE: Birth control problems. (2/28/2008 4:16:15 PM)

my female hormones are normal...and the last birth controls I didn't really have problems with like this...Ortho Tri Cylcen lo gave me break through bleeding, which is common with low dose birth control, the Ortho Novum made me really moody, the Ortho Tri Cyclen made my skin break out bad...

dollparts85 -> RE: Birth control problems. (2/28/2008 4:17:39 PM)

oh and I had an ultrasound back in Nov and all was normal...no cysts or large fibroids or anything.

tigerlilly34 -> RE: Birth control problems. (2/28/2008 4:18:53 PM)

seriously i call and talk your doctor.

GreedyTop -> RE: Birth control problems. (2/28/2008 4:21:54 PM)

but she hates doctors, tigerlilly..they're all trying to control her life  *shrug*

dollparts85 -> RE: Birth control problems. (2/28/2008 4:22:35 PM)

rich from what? LOL break through bleeding is VERY common on birth control...most women will get it at some point while taking birth control. It's not like dangerous or anything.
