Personally, i don't really think that many people are totally vanilla or totally kinkoid, in their sexual relationships. i think most are a little of this and a little of that and sometimes a little more of this rather than that.

Look, nobody, outside of the people intimately involved with each other, really knows what goes on within their sex life. And, kinky covers a lot of area, especially when you throw in the fuzzy handcuffs and fur-lined blindfolds.

Most of the people who have known me, casually, through work or school or social activities, have not known that i am a masochist or that i enjoy being whipped, etc. and, in fact, a lot of them have viewed me as being very "old fashioned" in my relationships, because i have always been the sort to have the man as the Head of Household and me the 'dutiful' submissive woman, waiting on him, hand and foot.

Nobody really knows what goes on behind closed doors or who's really 'vanilla' and who isn't. i mean, even the PTA mom, driving the minivan to soccer practice, is likely to a copy of "The Joy of Sex" in her nightstand, along with some little sex toys and such. Any way, i think it's pretty safe to say that a lot more people are less 'vanilla' than a lot of people think, if you know what i mean.

Normal is a myth people constructed from the bones of ideology. We could generalize and call vanilla folk "the straight-laced, monogamous, heterosexual couples" - and you could still very well refer to several couples here on CM.

I don't see a minority. I see a thousand shining facets of humanity tossed in a blender with the lid left off.

I have only been into the lifestyle a few years but I know that every relationship I have been in has been kinky it was just the neither of us identified with it. I have never known a woman that dosnt like being strapped down and fucked really hard... I am sure they exist somewhere and where ever that somewhere exists I hope they stay there...lol. I must admit though... no one gives head like a good sub... they got the vanillas beat all the hell on that one.
