I just like ladies with long hair. I don't know why and I don't try to figure out why. It doesn't have to be extremely long, but it should be long enough to make her look like a lady in my eyes. If she's trying to please me then I'll tell her when it's the right length. I'll also tell her if she's cut it too short.

My hair is waist length. I always go to bed with it braided as this keeps the grooming and knotting down. Also, I often wear it up for work. when i had long hair i tried braiding, but i always found it hard to sleep that way. Besides it had a tendency to be dangrously close to falling into my ritual candels. i am sure more wirches have been burned by ritual acident than by the inqusition. [;)]

The older I get, the shorter and darker my hair gets. It grows very slowly, too, thank heavens. I think beauty comes in many forms, and hair length is just one of the many.

You can find coconut oil in many food shops and in health food shops and often in alternative shops, in adition i am sure there are places on the net you can order it.

Hi nella! My hair is very short because that is what my owner prefers on me and what he feels suits. vision's hair is a lot longer than mine, and Master prefers that on her. I guess its just a matter of preference :)

I like long hair on my Luvdragon because of the way it frames her face, and the soft look she has when sleeping before I leave for work, which is one of my favorite times of the day.

I'm almost embarrased to admit, that after spending hundreds of dollars on hair care products to keep my long hair from appearing wild and unmanageable, I found the coconut oil at a DOLLAR STORE!!!! After finding out how well it worked, I went back and bought 4 more jars.

Many types of oil work well, oils are nutering to the head and protective to the hair. Just made myself a hair mixture of yellow stuff in the eggs, milk and alounds.

I like long hair because... well... have you seen my profile pic... LOL And its short now compared to what it used to be, used to have longer hair than most women I know. There's nothing necessarily femine about long hair, or masculine about short hair. I think its something else... maybe something more along the lines of long hair subconsciously representing more virility, more sexuality... and short hair being more associated with conformity, less sexuality, another cog in society. Ever notice that a high percentage of women cut their hair short after they get married? Men in white collar jobs who have long hair are about as rare as a blue moon. But look at the wilder side of society, bikers, strippers, rock stars, etc.... long hair abounds. Seeing a pattern in that? Maybe that desire for long hair has more to do with wanting a certain "wildness" in a potential partner, a certain uninhibitted freeness, a certain sexiness.

Are there people with short hair who are still perceived ad being wild, sexy, etc... sure... but if you think about it all those people demonstrate that sexiness in other ways. People want sexy, long hair is often thought to be sexy. Not too much mystery there.

Me, I just like long hair... on me, on women... I like long hair. Its a personal preference. Just like I prefer brunettes to blonds. Doesn't mean I haven't found short haired blonds attractive... just doesn't happen as often as I do a long haired brunettes. Everybody has their preferences, don't worry about it too much, be who you are and odds are there is somebody out there who will like that.

So... any long haired brunettes who like lanky, long haired guys? [sm=lol.gif]

Hehehe well nothing wrong whit liking long hair. Though some for example more spiky and gothic and punks shaor hairdos can be rather wild to.

Nothing wrong with liking short hair either, an some do. Spiky hair... ummm... not me... I'm not real big on hair that defies the law of gravity in strange ways. But that's just me, might turn someone else on wildly. They're all just preferences and we all have them. Most folks go through life never knowing why they like certain things more than others, they just know they do. Truth is if you dig around deep enough you can usually find a reason for most things. People are funny that way, but it makes them interesting.

honestly for me, it doesnt matter a damn what anyone else thinks... my hair has been short only 3 times in my life, and only once really short... its horrible(well horrible on me)... my hair is almost always at least halfway down my back... personally i think its more feminine, but i think some Doms like it that way cause it is more feminine, and because it gives a good handle to pull(mmmm love that)... tho i never really polled any to find out if its a Dommly trait to like long hair... i should do that...

I can't say why other Doms like long hair, but I can tell you why I love it.

There is something very sexy and ultra feminine about a girl with long hair. Yes it is fun to pull, but its also very comforting to play with. I love the softenss and the scent of her shampoo...

I love to have a woman riding on top during intercourse and have her leaned over Me... her hair all around My head.

I love laying her down and seeing her hair fan all out around her head like beams of the moon as I kiss her...

I love brushing her hair as she sits quietly on the floor in front of Me....

I love the way it shimmers in the sun and bounces as she walks toward Me smiling...

Yes, I just love long hair on girls.... for many reasons.

This is the stereotype I hate about long hair. It's been expressed over and over on this thread.

While I think long hair is -beautiful- I hate that it is often seen as a defining factor in feminity.

I figure if you're female-identified you are feminine no matter how your hair is cut, and I get frustrated by this accross-the-board vision of what is 'actually' feminine. I wish that we could branch out some, y'know?

This is NOT an attack on anyone's preference for long hair. More power to you. It -is- a critique of the idea that physical characteritics like hair are innately feminine/masculine.

Damn... I try to make a nice post and I messed it up anyway. lol Please allow Me to rephrase what I said:

I think long hair on a woman is something that is very sexy and ultra feminine. I surely wasn't saying it was feminine on a Man. I have long hair, and I am anything but feminine. I did not mean to insult anyone... I just merely explaining My preference for long hair in answer to the OP.

I didn't want to be misunderstood, however... the femininity is only one aspect of why I love long hair on a girl. Anyways, sorry if I offended anyone, that wasn't My intention.

If any of you show long haired dogs you'll understand this.. I used to bread and show Afghan hounds. Was always in the top three places nation wide.. It used to cost a mint for all the grooming products.. like Sunshine, I discovered coconut oil by accident and used to pump spray in on my hounds as I groomed them, it had the benifit of my hounds being tangle free, shining hair, flees appeared not to like it either and kept the babies smelling pleasant too. They loved it.

My hair is mid back unless I have it tied back into a cue. Coconut oil is great and keeps the tangles from forming. I simply use virgin olive oil to give it the oiled look when it is pulled back and because I like the smell I have the oil with crushed cloves steeping in it.

I wasn't trying to say negative things about your spesific preferece. It's everyone's right.

I just am critical of the "long hair on a woman is more feminine" thing in general. The idea, not indivuals who have that preferece.

YOU didn't offend me at all, and I think people should, of course, go with what attracts them. I would just prefere it were a personal attraction rather than "this is feminine" "this is masculine."

I dunno if that's any clearere.
