In case your pictures of the eclipse did not come out or you missed it for some reason. Read on. In the following thread about the eclipse GreedyTop and I exchanged websites with exceptional astrophotography. Lunar Eclipse Tonight These NASA sites were mentioned: NASA's Image Access Home Page & NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day Also mentioned was this site for great Astrophotography Astrophotography by Anthony Ayiomamitis Which among other stunning photos has this incredible picture of Moonrise at the Temple of Poseidon in the Agean Sea. It took fifteen months of planning and attempts to get it. Worth it! Since it is now a couple of days after the eclipse it is not surprising that pictures of it have now been posted at these sites. This brillant image including Saturn at the left, and bright Regulus, alpha star of the constellation Leo. And Mr. Ayiomamitis revisited the Temple of Poseiden for two images of the eclipse which also capture Saturn and Regulus. This shot of totality. And this shot at twilight post totality which being lighter shows more details. If you would like to see a real close up of the moon in shadow, Mr. Ayiomamitias has this image is from last year's eclipse. While you are visiting if you choose to spend some time exploring around these websites. I don't believe you will be disappointed. As GreedyTop said they "ROCK" Outlier
