Paulsgirl -> The smell of attraction (2/19/2008 3:26:30 PM)

It isn't just me i know but i wanted to hear from others....
Master had been away and i picked Him up at the airport.....when we got back and i could get close the smell of Him it was intoxicating, beautiful, a real fabulous turn on.

I know it's likely it's just pheremones but the experience was singulalrly stunning.....i lay for a long time next to Him sniffing (like a bitch on heat maybe) but sniffing at His skin and hair etc.......sometimes when we are apart i 'scent' Him like a presence around me....

I'm really not into deoderants or scent even for myself...patchouli oil is about the only thing i love to wear. My diet and eating/health consciousness is goos so i rarely ever wear deoderants and srays make me gag.....before a scene i like to sleep in the lingerie i am wearing next day as i feel i know that it will smell more alluring to others......
is there anyone else here who simply loves that natural 'scent' modality.........and if not what smell would you use to heighten experience....?

laurell3 -> RE: The smell of attraction (2/19/2008 3:29:48 PM)

Pheremones?  Maybe.  More likely you associate the way that person smells with something sexual, safe, attactive or all of the above.  What's confusing to me is when someone new smells like someone previously and my association becomes unreliable.

I feel this is stronger than just an association.
But someone smelling like someone else has never ever happened to me. And some persons' scents are a real turn-off and that's not clear cut either....i mean i know certain body odours there nust be more or less a consensus about...

This has happened to me a few times in the past.  I know "exactly" what you are talking about.  And, it is an idicator of hot chemistry, for me, with someone new.
I don't like body odor.  But every once in a great while, someone comes along, and there is just this primitive, animal like attraction to their smell.  Natural smell.  Not cologne or deoderant.  Not sweaty stinky, either.
But just a clean, natural, body smell.  Intoxicating when the match hits.
Patchouli is all I will wear, btw.  *chuckle*
And what I like to smell on men, as far as cologne goes, is Michale Kors, Polo, Man/by Jovan, Patchouli oil, and last, but not least, that plain, natural, primal smell (when it's right).
Like you...when it's right...I can't get my nose out of the nape of their neck, or the hairs on their chest.  I feel like a vampire looking for a place to bite.
Nice topic.  Original.
Oh...and this smell and auto body response, on my part, will often make me nibble, and BITE!!!
yesssssssssssssssssssssssssss

oh the nape of His neck......you see i don't do the biting but He does it extremely perfectly....anyway back to smell....oh it's just sublime and the chemistry of heaven....
just thought of other things to add into my original question though....

the smell of latex?
interesting about patchouli though.......

There's the old adage: Real Leathermen don't wear deoderant...or cologne.

I have a freind (Master) who wear Leatherstock (leather scented oil) as deodarant. He gets a kick when someone comments on how good he smells. He gets to say, "Smell my armpits! No, really!" *chuckle*

I almost always enjoy the left-over scent of a lover.

Smelling the scent of my partner...oh yes please!!!

I try to live my life pleasing my senses daily...pleasant surroundings that are pleasing to my eye...sounds that calm or inspire me...tasting wonderful food...touching everything...scents...oh yes...that is a major one!

Pleasing my senses with my partner...oh my, that's a whole other arena I love to be in!

Watching him walk to me with that wicked grin.  Hearing his voice sends chills to all those lovely places on my body.  Tasting his mouth/skin is like feasting on the Gods.  Touching his body.  Inhaling his scent is unmatched to anything I've known.

Cheers to all of us who achieve pleasing our senses!

As a bisexual woman i love the smell of women too....only certain women though and it has something to do with my 'gaydar' but not always.....i have a friend whom i know is straight as i have tried a trick or two to turn her, (sigh) and she has a certain faint faint scent i love....
but cunt smells extremely distinctive......

Thank you for relaying my respectas.  And, I meant every word of it as far as his choices are concerned.
I hope we can all get to know each other better and perhaps meet one day.

MsStarlett -> RE: The smell of attraction (2/19/2008 4:22:42 PM)

I love the scent of a man.  And leather.  Not "haven't bathed in a week" stink... but "just came in from working in the yard"... that's hot.

I don't like colognes or perfumes on myself or anyone close to me.  I hate patchouli oil most of all because the mess makes me sneeze and you can't get that smell to wash out of your clothes.  I know it's very popular, but I just can't stand it.

I've had an unusually high number of men comment that they recognize my scent and enjoy it.  Apparently, my natural odor is a touch 'spicy'.  *shrug*  I know it annoyed one of my close girlfriends when her boyfriend picked up our identical T-shirts and identified mine by the "Starlett Smell".

hell yes.... i am a pig that luvs to rut in my lovers armpits or thighs...[:)]

CrimsonMoan -> RE: The smell of attraction (2/19/2008 4:37:15 PM)

This was me in high school with my then bf. I LOVED the way he smelled, no deoderant, no cologne, just him. I would sniff him whenever I got the chance and actually got another memeber of his lil harem of admirers doing it as well.  I get the science behind it; its pheramones but also a signal of who we're genetically compatible with best etc; but science aside I would kill for something that smells like him right now while he's overseas for the next 4 months.

breatheasone -> RE: The smell of attraction (2/19/2008 4:58:01 PM)

I love, LOVE, L-O-V-E.....my Masters smell....I will snuzzle in His chest hair(I actually call it His fur, lol He thinks thats adorable[:)]), and breathe Him in. I love the smell of ALL of Him....It makes me drunk sometimes![;)]

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: The smell of attraction (2/19/2008 5:02:23 PM)

Smell is a big deal for me- there have been good people I couldn't be in relationships with because of their natural smell.

Just today I kissed my partners hand and could tell him almost exactly when he'd showered that day.

MidMichCowboy -> RE: The smell of attraction (2/19/2008 6:48:27 PM)

I have a pretty sensitive sniffer. I like people who are clean, wear deodorant (fresh sweat that we do together  is cool) but I still smell the scent of a person. I can find them in the dark. I can tell which perfume will blend with their smell. I love sleeping, holding her close so I can breath in her scent. It might be my animal side, but smell is very important to me.

'Just an association' doesn't really gve credit to the power that scent has. It is the single most powerful sense for memory association which is entirely separate from the effect of pheremones, which we're not consciously aware of.

BlackPhx -> RE: The smell of attraction (2/20/2008 6:29:36 AM)

Master constantly buries his face in my hair, even in his sleep. When his face isn't there, mine is pressed into the hollow between his shoulder blades. that place where unless I wash his back smells of nothing but him and clean. Perfume wise, I wear vanilla scents...they blend best with my skin oils.

Chloelicious -> RE: The smell of attraction (2/20/2008 6:40:09 AM)

I positively love the smell of leather and the smell of my master's pubis ( I tell him he is "dick"smelling).

I like a guy who smell  dolce & gabanna!!

Leatherist -> RE: The smell of attraction (2/20/2008 7:40:14 AM)

I must be odd, I like the smell of leather-but rank body odors make me feel ill.
