Status: offline 		I don't believe there are any 'musts' except for those that each person within the relationship feels.  Everyone has needs, and as long as the relationship meets both person's needs, it's all good.  I think the problem comes when one person loves and the other doesn't return that love.  I think that inequity can lead to emotional issues between the couple.

Well said! I can only speak for myself: I have to have an emotional bond with my submissive. And of course, that bond can turn into love. Not required, but oh-so wonderfully satisfying....

Status: offline 		I've know slaves that truly did not want love from any DOM...and others that cann't cope without it.  Frankly, its not nessary.but it does add a Zest to it that defies logic .
I find I don't need the love..but I do have to have a Need of their services..

Status: offline 		Definately! I LOVE my slave!!! When I first joined this site I had a bad past and did not think that love was for me. I was just looking for a 'good for the moment' type thing. As soon a pet emailed me I was distant with him, then he gave me his number in case I needed to talk cause he sensed somthing was wrong. Believe it or not I didn't think he was genuine at first. One night I broke down and gave him a call-it was the best decision I ever made. Not only has he made me happy, feel loved, cherished, he shows devotion, submission, trust, love, and everything I could have ever hoped for and more. pet is the best person who's ever come into my life. We've been together nearly 8 months now. Not to say every step has been easy but its all been worth it. I cannot wait till the end of March when I get to be with him and collar him.
