LadyEllen -> not another 911 thread (2/13/2008 5:43:59 AM)

I was thinking (always dangerous)

If waterboarding is acceptable as a means of interrogation, and the confessions and testimony forthcoming is valid - then given that there is sufficient evidence for at least some inconsistencies in the accounts provided publicly which give rise to suspicion of government involvement.......... would the President and his administration submit themselves to such a method of questioning, so that our minds may be put to rest?

Huh... no. Not that it wouldn't be fun, mind you.

mnottertail -> RE: not another 911 thread (2/13/2008 6:04:18 AM)

It only works with true enemies and is useless against the righteous defenders of our nation.

Nice try tho, kiddo.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained?

      LadyE, your gender status probably wouldn't keep you from visiting us here in the States (do let us know when you hear from our Customs dept, too), but advocating for this one might do the trick.

kittinSol -> RE: not another 911 thread (2/13/2008 6:56:43 AM)

Woo hoo, that sounded ominous [sm=hair.gif] .

LadyEllen -> RE: not another 911 thread (2/13/2008 6:58:16 AM)

Hi Rich - you know? Still nothing back from the authorities over there..... but then my surname, due to a one off liason during the Empire, is Bin Laden.

Rich is a secret agent for the USCIS. One of his assignments is to lurk on dodgey BDSM sites looking for potentially heretical immigrants.

LadyEllen -> RE: not another 911 thread (2/13/2008 7:02:24 AM)

Oh I'm the biggest heretic of them all (apart from Rich of course) - I mean, I've never even been inside a Mosque, and there's one just round the corner.

Truth hurts. Particularly if your name is Bush or Cheney.

Since the American government believes it has proved the efficacy of torture in the war on terror, can we expect it will soon be employed by local law enforcement agencies around the country?

After all, it is only a short leap of logic: if it works on foreigners, it will work on citizens.

For the Fatherland ... anything can be justified.

kittinSol -> RE: not another 911 thread (2/13/2008 9:40:48 AM)

Bob!!! You're back!

popeye1250 -> RE: not another 911 thread (2/13/2008 11:25:09 AM)

One thing that's true is that "waterboarding" worked for that "Zawahiri?" guy the one who "masterminded" 911.
They said he didn't last two minutes and gave up a bunch of top al qeada capt's and lt's a few of whom have since eaten hellfire missiles fired from drones.
So it works on cowards like al qeada.
Should it be used in the U.S.?
Only on Politicians!!!

It's Bob! You have returned to me...(Domiguy knocks some old pizza boxes and used condoms off of the couch to make room for his bestest of buddies Bob....Have a seat, have you tried This flavor of Doritos?)

Nice to see you again....You know that Spring is just around the corner when the Bob's have come back home to roost....Soon we will all be knee deep in walleye fillets and pussy. It's going to be a good year afterall.
