Can anyone help me?

I am trying to enter the chatrooms however; I am getting the message telling me "connecting to the Collarme chat network please wait"

This never happens. I have checked thatI have the correct Java installed and I do not have "Macafee" and yet I can find no way of accessing chat.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm having the same problem...but I ignore it now. I handle only so much bs then move on.

Its a dud. The Chat rooms on CM dont work probably because its a bitch to control. The Mods would be running themselfves to death trying to keep things civil and rooting out the Predators, etc. So they don't work, basicly its to make your menu bar look pretty and help the site look high tech.

To narrow down your problem, could you try going to other Java-based sites? (Other chats which rely on it, and online games such as RuneScape come to mind.)

If you could tell us if all of your Java-based applications, some, or none of the others are having problems.. that'd be a good first step to figuring this out.

Hate to burst your CM hate bubble, but nope.... you are incorrect.
Chatrooms

This is at the top of the chat room page.

Note: Chatrooms are user-created and this website has no involvement in their moderation. Therefore, issues relating to a particular chatroom need to be addressed to the users who maintain it.

Therefore it's safe to say no Moderators were hurt but the creation of actual chat rooms, not just pretty buttons.

I tend to agree with you...also, make sure the correct port is enabled in your router or firewall.
