Hi, my name is Silverwing and my significant other is Blackdog. It's unlikely that you'll ever see or hear from him, unless it's under very rare circumstances. I come here because I am a curious person; I like to learn about different things, people, and lifestyles. I like to read the message boards and visit the chatrooms; I'm always asking questions when I don't understand something or when I want to know more about it. Sometimes I just go in the chatrooms and read without interacting; it's a great way to learn communication skills.
Believe it or not, most of what I learn on these sites is useful in everyday "normal" life ... which reminds me ... Blackdog and I are not what people would consider "active in the lifestyle". We are not the "ideal D/s couple" and we don't like labels that limit who/what we are and how we live. A "lifestyle" is nothing more than what an individual, couple, or group makes it out to be ... and every "lifestyle" is designed around the preferences of those involved. While we are not "lifestylers" and do not consider ourselves to "be" a D/s couple, we do have patriarchial preferences and some of the personality traits of those respective labels; and occasionally I will refer to myself as the submissive and him as the dominant simply because it makes conversation flow smoother.
