No, that isn't true, there have been certain times when i have never reached orgasm. not by lack of trying, or getting into it, it just didn't happen. So, i am not sure that substituting orgasm for subspace would be appropriate.

Not everyone can reach subspace, just as not everyone can orgasm. Or, reach subspace with different partners, or orgasm with a partner. And some of us find it easy. Working hard at trying, puts more of the concentration on the goal and not enough on the ride. I can think of three People that have sent me into subspace, and it's always a wonderful experience. However, it's certainly not an every-time thing. I also think it depends on a person's particular kinks and having the right buttons pushed.....at least for me anyway. Vive le subspace! lol

Yes, more than one person can send you into subspace - as it depends upon you (in my experience), not the Dom who is sending you there. i go into subspace very easily - often find myself slipping away while the bonds or restraints are being placed upon me. i think my work with meditation, and yoga, has greatly contributed to this. Subspace (at least for me) is a very meditative disassociated state of mind, floaty, dark, peaceful. And yes, time does fly by! And i can physically make myself go into subspace now - it isn't something that he has to force me to do. i simply calm my breathing, focus on the sensation, and go to that other place in my mind....it truly is an experience of my own creation, and its wonderful. This comes in quite handy in dealing with stressful situations in everyday life too, btw, not just in a D/s "scene." i would recommend to those who have difficulty to try meditation, especially with kundalini yoga - it does take time, and discipline (it took me over a year to experience results) - but once you find that space, it really is amazing. And i know this not only from my experience, but from talking with others. [:)] Not sure about the hypnosis part of things, but would be fun to try as well.

Mostly I feel it to be a matter of how much I really submit and the skill of the Top. There is One though that can play me like a (your choice). Able to, at will, take me in and out of subspace. Primary states of mind are, Normal waking consciousness with fear and will issues of the surface ego, some altered relations between mind and body with sensations of separation and of sensations of hyper-awareness of the 5 senses. Always the distortion of time. Another Who sends me into s.space with a prolong sensation of mind and body separation resulting in a more "floaty" afterburn. The skill of the Top to me is very important.

As a Dom/me couple who like to work together in SM we prefer to believe that more than one person can more easily get a sub into subspace... More seriously, our experience has been some people find that mindset and high easily and others not. Like most everything in bdsm YMMV
