I cant recall the thread with the discussion of pets left behind when people lose their homes.. but here's some happy news for some in New York state..

I'm so glad shelters are taking the animals in, and the lady who had to give up her kitty made me cry...

yeah, me too. I can't imagine ANY scenario where I'd give up my girls, but then I've never been in a position of having a home foreclosed on.

There is a group of foster owners her in the Atlanta area, that will keep your pet for a few months while you find a place that allows pets.
