Greetings:
 
My mother and I recently purchased a Roomba.  For those who have never seen one of these beautiful works of art, it is a robot that cleans the floors by itself.
We have had a ball following the roomba aka spot clean while we watch.  
I guess I am going to have to collar it.  LOL
If you don't have one, you need it.   Best thing since the internet, and it keeps on cleaning.

We got our roomba, aka spot at Target for under $200.00.  Inventor deserves a nobel peace price especially for helping with the elderly and handicapped.

Trust me on this one.  Spot was in here just a minute ago, and cleaned my apartment.

      It's not much bigger in diameter than a frisbee, is it?   The way my dog sheds, it would be full pretty quick.  I'd also worry about the cat trying to kill it.

Oh, and it is the thing for as the dog sheading because I have birds.  My apartment is now seed free!

Roomba does wood floors just fine. There is anothe rorbot from the same company that mops but my roomba vacuums my carpets and hardwood floors quite well. My cat hunts it and turns it over on its side every few days but that is actually good for my blood pressure, from laughing while watching my cat hunt a robot.

I have heard that roombas are a deadly enemy to cats:)

i could just see my jack russel/chihuahua hiding from the damn thing.  he hates the full size sweeper, i could just imagine a self propelled disc crawling across the room.  anyone want to see a small dog hanging upside down from the ceiling like sylvester the cat in cartoons?
