Dude, it's only paranoia if the feelings aren't based in real events.

Is Fox news the only news service out there, like the BBC? Do we have cameras on every light post, like London? I think not, and that you're paranoid.

Faery;

Sorry to hear about your luck in the cardio department. Hope you make it through and have as much life as you can. A good friend of mine died on the table after a horrendously serious wreck. The gearshift went into his chest. Now you see why they used to have the three on the tree ? (for the younger folk who might not know, the old stickshifts had it on the steering column, you ull for first and reverse, you don't pull for second and third)

If not for the floor shifter my buddy might have walked away.

You died twice on the table ? Do you remember anything ? That might be an interesting subject. My buddy never mentioned seeing that light or anything, in fact he does not mention it.

Tell ya what, I do not want to hijack my own thread, that's ridiculous. If you have thoughts on it start a thread, I will be watching.

But, back to it. Thinking about the history that is going to happen, I know what it is, but I do not know if I will be here for it. That thought has crossed my mind more than once. Indeed.

You, like me, do not fear death. Knockin the rock witcha babe, because once you don't fear death, you don't fear anything.

Be or get as well as you can. I'll get back to this later.

T

Um... what do you think those things are on top of the stoplights at most intersections?

Every phone call you make is logged. What phone you were using, who you called, and for how long... if you are a "person of interest" your content will be recorded as well. All without your knowledge or consent and without a warrant.

It's not known at this time if our email is also being logged, although we do know that all packets are currently scanned for keywords.

No, Fox isn't the only news service out there. It's just the one that reports news according to it's party affiliation lines. The other news services are just manipulated.

i wont live much past 50 because i have no ambition and very little reason to.  not to mention my 6th heart surgery is coming and ive been clinically dead twice in previous surgerys.  so chances are slim.

Like 1984 all the predictions came early. I am actually not proud of the fact that I have not read 1984, but I have read what others have written about it. Many say when they read it decades ago it was scary, but now it's pretty mundane.

The song by Zager and Evans is available on P2P, and I am sure you can get the lyrics with a Google search.

"In the year 2525 if Man is still alive"

Hell, let's talk 2025. I'll be 65, or will I ? Things are going to erupt sooner or later, we just can't keep our thumb on 130 countries forever.

"Ain't gonna have to tell the truth, tell no lies, everything you think do and say is in the pill you took today"

The lyricist must have read 1984. However he was off on the year. Look over in Health and safety and see that even in this community, on CM, people are quite intelligent, they should be able to sort out their problems instead of going on SSRIs. I am quite surprised to find so many on drugs. I avoid drugs like the plague, and I attribute that to intelligence. Not to blow my own horn, but I haven't had an aspirin in over thirty years. I beat my depression on my own, but that is apparently a lost art anymore. It used to be called "pulling yourself up by the bootstraps".

"Ain't gonna need your teeth, won't need your eyes, won't find a thing to chew, nobody's gonna look at you".

I don't mean to get analytical on you, no actually I do. Some things are natural fact, and when you age, that perfect eyesight is usually out the window by your forties. Usually you need reading glasses, and without them, you partner's wrinkles are not so apparent. Enjoy. And I do not want to dwell on tooth decay, but by forty most people have had more done in dental work than the sum total of all the health care I have recieved in my life. Why is a whole different subject though.

"Your arms hanging limp at your sides, your legs have nothing to do, some machine's doing that for you"

I almost don't have to say anything. Look at the old people in those scooters or power chairs. Fifty years ago at that age they would still be plowing a field. Arms limp at your sides I take as a portend of the fact that we don't make anything here anymore. And a service based economy does not survive. When the song was written we did make things here, but it seems the author could see it coming.

"You pick your son, pick your daughter too, from the bottom of a long glass tube"

I really don't know what to say, you already know. It has already happened.

"If God is coming he oughtta make it by then, maybe he'll look around himself and say, guess it's time for judgement day".

Oh boy, look at the world. Everybody is out to fuck over everybody else, with some exceptions. If there is a God in the Judeo-Christian sense, he would be here now. Man's inhumanity to Man, even though it has been practiced for a very long time, is now reaching a scale where the Biblical prophesy "Men shall seek death and not find it" is becoming a reality.

One day I was about to commit suicide. Too hard to find a gun on short notice, can't stick a knife in an electric outlet because we have GFI. Stabbing yourself is a very hard thing to do. And I had no sword to fall on. To actually have the possibility of death imminent is what saved me. The final decision time came and I decided NO, FUKUM. Maybe everybody should go through a time like this, unfortunately some may go through with it. I obviously didn't, but I was so close. It is that moment when depression is gone. Do you want your life or not ? If you say yes, you are pretty much over it. Or you can take drugs and never resolve the issue. That is our world today.

"Or tear us down and start again"

If we ever start the plan of eradicating 80% of the world's population as I advocate, we start with politicians and the rich. Us peons will re-form a government that will never let them rape us as they have in the past and do in the present.

"Taken everything this old Earth can give, and put back nothing"

I am not sure that I have much to add to this line. Wars are fought for natural resources, countries and peoples exploited just because in their ground has phosphorus or cadmium .Or oil.

Seeing the big picture, a bigger picture than most, I can see this. I am not talking tree hugging here. I am talking about the fact that many minerals are mined and used to make killing machines when they belong in the soil in which our food is grown. And this is going on for a long time. Go have a look at senate document 264, and if you do, note the date.

"Man has cried a billion tears, for what he never knew, now Man's reign is through, but through eternal light, the twinkling of starlight, so very far away, maybe it's only yesterday"

Oh boy. Maybe you have a loved one who died in a war, possibly Iraq. Do you know why ? The apparent answer is that he was standing there when the bulet came along, but that is the simple answer. The question is why was he standing there and why was the bullet fired in the first place ? You won't like the answer.

Maybe it is in fact yesterday in a sense. You look at the human race as a whole and you can rightly conclude that we have not advanced. If the prevailing religions were right we would be living in harmony with everybody, there would be no wars. But that is not how it is. Religion has failed miserably to guide humanity, and that is why I reject it totally.

While I reject religion, that does not mean their book is useless. I have read Revelations more than once, and I conclude that the Bible is full of wisdom. It is occluded by quaint stories and writings though, and is hard to understand.

What they did is make a thousand page book out of two words : Be nice.

You see, people do not have an open mind, and many can't even grasp anecdotal lessons. People are prejudiced against the Protocols, though they contain as much truth as Revelations. And I said PREJUDICED.

YES, PREJUDICED. People reject the document before ever reading it. The few who have read it might or might not understand. You must read the whole thing. When you get to the end you see that they do want peace, but they just don't trust anyone else to achieve it. The beginning part is considered trials and tribulations, but the goal really is world peace, and a one world government, or a super government. A world in which gains are not made on the battlefield, they are achieved in court.

Just because I have read and understand the Protocols doesn't mean I am an anti-Semite. It really doesn't say anything nastier than the old tesstament. But I will say this much, you can get it online, or from me, and if you choose to comment on the Protocols, even to call them fake or whatever, read it first. If you haven't read it your opinion has no value. Don't waste my time.

Prophesy can be found in alot of places, songs etc. I look to see what is true. Zager and Evans expressed something to me. I just listened to it. I admit it is simplistic, and what the lyrics turned out to be is one thing, but if you listen to it and substitute your age for the years the lyrics say, it is scaringly true. Not 100%, but a bit too close for comfort.

What was said in that song was meant to depict thew decline of the whole human race, but it is pretty clear that these things do happen in the course of a human life.

I will stop now. I have a general rule anymore. When the square in the scrollbar on the right of this text is square, that is enough. If you have read all this and are down here, thank you for being diligent or whatever, not sure of the word.

But I am here to get others' opinions. I could go on all day, but then everybody would blow it off.

T

The world is going to end in 2012.

(And I'm gonna wait until 2010 to buy all new living room furniture on one of those "NO interest or payments until 2013!!!" TV deals).

I have a couple more to go.  I tend to read a book in a day, so I do not buy them, and noone I know has them.  The library has one in the series missing, so that is where I am stopped.  I don't want to read ahead...definitely a series you don't need to skip around.  I had decided if they do not have one in by this week, either a sub or I will be buying one, I can't wait much longer!!!!! They truly are books you get totally immersed in while reading, (at least I do!!)

OK you all pass.

Now it is "In the year 3535"

Y'know at this point I am thinking what would constitute a hijack. Somebody would have to talk about pantyhose or something.......

HAHAHA.

The unhijackable thread. LOL

So did anyone see Farenheit 451 ? That might be fun.

There are 3 prequels and a final book also, Ladies.  I just finished the final book over the holidays.  A very nice read!  If you would like or need more info, please feel free to write Me on the other side!

That's what makes calling 'hijack' such a problem.  Pantyhose would be a valid drift all over the place.  Julia might have to spend hours in line for a pair (that ran the first time she put them on).  The mother might put some on before her daily hyper-dose of soma.  The Elders plan a world where they can get whatever they want by dangling a pair out the car window, and I strongly suspect the acid eater who "saw" that economies move exactly like electricity was probably wearing a nice pair of Leggs while typing Silent Weapons down in his mother's basement.

I have 2012 stuck in My head too for some reason.  Is there a reason for that particular year that I am not remembering?  Maybe something I read?  Help!

2012 is the end of an age according to the Mayan calendar.  December 21, and it's all over.  Pre-Columbian prophecy is some interesting stuff.

Yanno, I live in Indiana, and we don't have anything on top of our street lights, except birds.

Calls have been intercepted and logged since the early 70's, hardly Bush's fault, must have been that fascist Carter. Look up Sugar Grove WV and Echelon.

CNN & MSNBC both put a liberal spin on the news, so does ABC, NBC & CBS, the BBC & Canada's CBC...Where's the outrage?

Where in the Bill of Rights does it say e-mail shall remain private? I must have missed that amendment.
