OK   So I decided to go to the candidates websites to see what propoganda they had to say.   I went to Hillary then McCain, But Obama's website wouldn't let me see anything without joining his team.   What is that all about?

I'd say it's about an agressive strategy to win the primary.  Hillary has the political machine of the Dem party in her pocket.  By getting email addy's at the door, the Obama team has some resources to build their own.

I understand the campaign also has ringtones you can download by providing your cell phone number.  VERY smart move there.

OH well   I am a republican in McCain's home state.   Just wanted to educate myself.   Guess Obama doesn't want anyone to know.

PrizedPosession -> RE: Obama just pissed me off (2/3/2008 8:25:58 AM)

Obama is catering to a younger demographic, he even came to the ASU campus and did a speech...and i believe he has more offices here then Hillary...

KenDckey -> RE: Obama just pissed me off (2/3/2008 8:28:44 AM)

The only one's I have seen up here in Kingman are Ron Pauls people.   But I think you are right.

TheHeretic -> RE: Obama just pissed me off (2/3/2008 8:35:10 AM)

There is an easy option, Ken.  You know how Radio Shack trys to insist on getting your address before they sell you anything?  I just give them the street address of the White House.  You could always just give them the 'info @' for Hillary's site.

There must be a lot of confidence that people want to know more, if the campaign figures they can 'charge' to enter.

PrizedPosession -> RE: Obama just pissed me off (2/3/2008 8:35:48 AM)

Ah, yes Obama was in Tempe because i haven't heard of Ron Paul up there so that explains it. And he was definietly here because i have his poster. i wish the others would come out, but i think i have to wait til the debates come here.

It would be funny as hell (in a Vonnegut sort of way), if Paul pulled enough conservative write-in votes in Nov. to throw the election to Hillary.

pahunkboy -> RE: Obama just pissed me off (2/3/2008 9:14:29 AM)

Dude- anything can happen. November is a lifetime away in politics.

:-)

bipolarber -> RE: Obama just pissed me off (2/3/2008 9:44:37 AM)

Yes! Go Ron Paul! If you don't win the nomination, please, please, PLEASE run as an independant! Split that GOP vote, and garuantee a DNC win come November! Go, Ron Paul! Go for it! ALL THE WAY!!!!

Maybe he read some of your previous threads and you pissed him off first.

What are you talking about? This site with the skip signup link that gets you into his full website?

BTW the music video putting his speeches to music is now on his page. Good listening.

KenDckey -> RE: Obama just pissed me off (2/3/2008 12:09:43 PM)

Somehow I didn't find a skip link.   Glad to find out that he is willing to share his information after all.

Alumbrado -> RE: Obama just pissed me off (2/3/2008 12:12:55 PM)

So if we are to believe the various pundits on CM, Obama is an anti-patriotic/war monger, Muslim extremist/fundy Christian zealot, inexperienced/Beltway insider, who snorts coke and wants to sleep with your wife, while being too much of an elitist to let you see his website?

And he doesn't have that all important great haircut...no wonder he is doing so poorly.

ksdom2k5 -> RE: Obama just pissed me off (2/3/2008 1:57:04 PM)

Like was said earlier it makes sense to want to get information from people up front. It's also not that big of a deal, because it is pretty easy to find his information in a lot of places online without having to divulge any information if you want to. And just as a side note it's scary how many people on here are pro-Ron Paul. I know he had some nice sound bites in the Republican debates and has suddenly become the hip person to be into, but read a lot of his issues and you'll realize that those sound bites are the only really sane thing on his agenda the rest of them are just completely insane. He's been effective though, he's managed to pull people from both sides of the political divide over to his cause, which is frankly just a little scary.
