How does a permanent Moderator thread sound? It would be a place to go when you have questions and concerns about the boards. The questions can be answered by the moerator and everyone can see the answers. So that way any one who was thinking the same thing would get the informnation as well.

That would be nice if people asked questions and then got answers they wanted but in reality it would jut turn into argument chains because people never seem to be happy with the answers they get. What kind of question were you thinking of asking; “What is bestiality?”[:D]

Except for in the last week, in the 2 and a half years I've been here, I've never had a reason to ask a moderator anything. And about the only question I have right now is what criterae they are using that all of a sudden people are getting threatened with banning (not me, btw) But as for the people who have been threatened, I haven't seen anything egregious enough to cause something like that to happen. Kind of makes me wonder if op's who don't like the answers they are getting are complaining, and getting some 'extra moderation'. I don't know that that is the case, but I do have to wonder. I do know that many came over here from the 'b' site because the mods were getting out of hand. Saying things like 'if you don't like it, leave'. And they did. I still go there once in a while, but, it's not the same, that's for sure. ~Christina

Mostly general questions. Clarifications of things that a person may not be sure of. All the other boards i'm on have one and it works great, and is very imformative.

We already have one. It's called Guidelines and ToS.

if people are complaining then something must be wrong. If someone is being threatend to be banned, that usually means that a lot of peole have complained and are upset. Which is not good for the board. That just seems logical to me, but i could be wrong.

Ok, perhaps another idea, as we all seem to forget TOS. How about under everybody's personal signature on posts, a line of TOS, perhaps paraphrased so on subliminaly reading it, it will sink in and there influence our posting.

People complain for many reasons, often nothing to do with something being wrong. Reminds me of the people who complain about certain television shows - no one is forcing them to watch them. Televisions have multiple channels, as well as an off button. Same thing with the boards - Should something bug me for whatever reason - there's that nice X button at the top right of the screen. I just use it. typo edit - again:)
