McCain's so old and feeble that I'd be voting for or against his running mate more than McCain

I think your girl is safe, O59. The 'son of the south' got thoroughly whomped again. The only reason I can think of that he's still in is that he figures the party will never actually nominate a woman or a "colored."

I like them all,and every one of them would be a fine executive.

The Democrats have set it up,so that there are no bad choices.

They could all be complete fuck ups,and they would be better than what we have now.

Never mind what kind of executive they would be. Your biggest problem is that none of them are electable, even if you do have NBC and friends calling Obama the one true legitimate heir to the Kennedy throne

This whole election is a joke. Not a single one of those candidates on either side is qualified to be President.

This government is gigantic and getting bigger by the day. We have no control over our borders. We are stuck in the middle of wars half-way around the world, our currency is crashing, and the government can't control its spending. This country's government is totally out of control. McCain will be just more of the same. He's the from the same Washington elite that got us in this mess. And Obama? Dont make me laugh.

This country is spiraling out of control.

McCain hasn't won it yet.
Super Tuesday is comming up.
I couldn't vote for McCain, Hillary or Obama.
Nice, he'll be spending tens of billions of dollars to chase a thousand "insurgents" or whatever they call them these days around so that ; "they don't follow us home!"

Owner59 will vote for McCain before I will.

McCain is extremely unlikely to be the GOP nominee. It's still Huckabees election. Super Tuesday includes GA, AL, TN and AR. Huckabee will win 2 or 3 of those. Romney looks certain to win Utah. That leaves primarily the big states of NY, IL, CO and CA. IL and NY will have low GOP turnouts which could play into the evangelicals hands as well. McCain should win New Mexico and has a shot at CA. CO may swing to Huckabee as well its all a matter of which GOP voters show up.

For those who despise McCain do you really wish either Huckabee or Romney on your party?

Practically every Republican and conservative I know will vote for Huckabee or Romney before they vote for McCain. McCain is winning contests with 30-35% of the GOP vote and without the backing from the base. The only people voting for him are the Bush neo-cons and Republican elite. And senior citizens.

The majority of Republicans despise the man.

Couple of quick points:

From the onset there have been four candidates that I had hoped would either be defeated or just self-destruct.

Wudy is out....Hiliary is on her way out.... That leaves Straight talk express and the midget from the Big Apple to be dealt with.

If Straight talk gets the nomination, it looks to me like the midget from New York and Ron Paul will cannibalize the GOP vote when they run as independents. At least I hope so---because another four years of treasury-drain /rolling the printing press for the purpose of chasing a purely mythical enemy around globe would be worse than the last eight years with junior.

No matter who wins the nominations, I can guarantee you that I will not be voting for either of the major parties. Or should I still hold out hope for Ron Paul as a contender?

I am interested here to see how many state the choices and how difficult it is going to be to hold their nose with one hand while voting with the other. Or read that so and so was for Kucinich but now they have to look at someone else because he went bye-bye...
You always have another option.
WRITE IN YOUR CANDIDATE!
Honestly, I wonder if 20 - 25% of the voters wrote in another name (I don't care if it's Mickey Mouse) what sort of message would be going in to Washington, D.C.? So how about we not make it negligible. Let's make it a point and a call to action , regardless of who wins this time around?
I am virtually sure the Dems will win, unless it is a McCain/Clinton ballot. In that case, he could probably beat her. And then we will have more of the same...
Challenging all to write in your candidate. Don't vote for the lesser of two evils. Is there a lesser evil anyway?
I won't be a part of it anymore, but I will still exercise My right to cast a ballot.

In order for their to really be a choice, there would have to actually be two very different parties, instead of one party (the party of the rich) with two facades.
