REminds me of a recent conversation I had with an ex and close friend. "Rob" has always know what I was into, since he and I lived in NY together. We dated briefly and figured friends was better since we both had very dominant personalities. He, however, was very very vanilla. Recently, he was telling me that he is getting into 'the stuff you liked, you know' He spanked his girlfriend, ans she seemed to like it. He held her down by the back of the neck while they had sex, and then he even ordered her not to go clean up afterwards until he was ready to get up! I resisted the urge to "awww, thats cute" at him. Well considering my family knows of my lifestyle choices and while they don't approve they accept and just ask it be kept out of their perview so those discussions never come up. I do know my kid sister has apparently gotten into the kink arena but lucky she and I live in different states and again just not a topic that's broached. Most of our friends have also usually been more kink that 'nilla which makes it easy. Although I'd be curious how a game of "who's kinkier" would end up with some of the 'nillas I do speak with would turn out.. I suspect a few drop'd jaws if they only knew.

My relationships don't start out vanilla.
