In the wake of Caroline's endorsment comes Uncle Ted's.

Can Mrs. Clinton win?

Is that supposed to be a "good" thing?

It is if you are a leftist Democrat.

Popeye, don't forget...

Kennedy is an Icon to the left and he continually wins his Senate seat by the largest margins of any Senator.

FatDom, I know, I'm from Massachusetts origionally.
After the elections everyone is going around saying "I didn't vote for Kennedy, did you?"
God Bless those Diebold voting machines!
Massachusetts and Louisiana are the two crookedest states in the Union.
You have to "know someone" to get a job on local or state govt!
And those "Mass Pike Tolltaker" jobs that pay $85k per year (for making change) are doled out by state reps.
Everyone who works "for the pike", is some state rep's or senator's "neice", nephew", "son-in-law" (there's a LOT of them!) "son", "cousin", etc.
The bonds for the Mass Turnpike were paid off decades ago so they should have removed all the toll booths.
But, they just keep issueing bonds to keep things going.
They rip up miles of the turnpike that's only a few years old to "repave" it and the reps and senators families have financial interests in those construction companies doing the work!
And look at "The Big Dig", that was Kennedy's baby supposed to cost $5 B initially and now up to almost $15B.
You had all the "insiders" starting phoney "minority set- aside companies" to get contracts.
"Woman owned" = Rep. Kelly's "neice" as a straw.
"Minority owned"= grab some black guy off the street in Roxbury and put him on the "board" of a phony company to get "set-aside" contracts.
The corruption in that state is incomprehensable!
And that's just what we know about!

Popeye, I can blame ol' Ted for that.  I know how he judges women, and there isn't enough booze at the family compound to make Hillary look good.

No idea if Clinton can win or not.  Although I don't think it is a bad thing at all for her that Kennedy didn't endorse her.  In fact it may be a very good thing.

About the same as Kerry endorsing Obama.

Yup, she dodged a bullet there!
She's probably hopeing that his idiot son Rep Patrick "Patches" Kennedy D. R.I. doesn't "endorse" her too.

They are realizing that Obama is going to carry the election.  I really don't know where Caroline is coming off saying Obama is as inspiring to people has her father was.
Super Tuesday will put it all in prospective.
Look for an Obama/Hillary ticket.

Regards, MissSCD

Yeah, politicians don't "inspire" me.
If someone is "inspired" by a politician they probably need to get a life.
Plus, what's this Obama really done?
I saw in one of his speeches that he mentioned the word "genocide" so that tells me that he'd put Troops in Darfur or some other hellhole, not our business!
Him in the w.h. would be a disaster, I mean if the Kennedys like him...

Just heard Ted Kennedy on the radio.
He said; "With Obama we will stop the injustice of race against race, ethnic group against ethnic group, ....."
Is this guy living in the 1960's? I didn't realize we were having a race war.
Boy, such "gratitude" for Jean Kennedy Smith's "ambassadorship" to Ireland compliments of Bill Clinton.
And now he wants to endorse a guy who's name he couldn't pronounce 3 years ago?
"And here's ah,.... Osama Bin Laden,....ah, ah, Osama Baraka, ah  ah,.... Oksana Alabama..."

"It's time to set our course for the shores of hope..."
Who writes that shit?
Does this mean they can finally tear down those "Clinton Country" signs in Massachusetts?

The Kennedy's are to the Democrats as Reagan is to the Republicans.

Teddy is a god in the Democratic party. He can pull the poor away from Edwards and pull minorities away from Clinton.

Its just politics as usual.  Time to wipe the slate clean and get rid of lobbyist and special interest groups.
Doesn't matter who is behind the throne, nothing every changes except the name.
sorry to sound negative but the absurd amount of money funding these campaigns could be put to so much better use.
To me politics is just a big game where we all lose.
an honest politician doesn't stand a chance.  I will vote for the issues presented before me and pray whoever is next doesn't make a bigger mess then we already have.

Ted Kennedy; "Patches!" "Get us another round of drinks over here!"

Ted Kennedy was comparing Obama to JFK. Which is not even close. JFK was nowhere near as liberal as Obama. He believed in the same type of tax cuts that Bush and the GOP support today. JFK would be a bit out of step with his party today if he was alive. But that's true with most Democrats. I mean Reagan was a Democrat back in the 1940s. If you ask people who are Republicans today, many will say either they or their parents used to be Democrats. The Democratic party has become far more liberal and even socialist the past 20-25 years than it ever has been.

Cyber, that's true.
If my parents were alive today they'd never be Democrats.
The Democrats used to be "for the workingman", now they're for illegal aliens, more "trade" deals that put people out of work, more foreign aid and sending our Troops to foreign countries to stop "genocides."
Can I get a big "Cum-Bay-AaaH!"

He wasn't comparing their politics, he was comparing their charisma and the way they inspire their followings. Both are very similar.

FatDom, I just don't see any "charisma" in Obama.
A tax  accountant is more "exciting" than him.

Anyone see all the liberal women pissed off because Teddy and Caroline Kennedy endorsed Obama? They are pissed!

----------------------------------------------------
The National Organization for Women's New York chapter today issued a scathing response to Sen. Ted Kennedys endorsement of Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton in the Democratic presidential primary, calling it a "betrayal" of women. Marcia Pappas, NOW-NY's president, wrote in a news release that on a host of issues and positions, "Women have forgiven Kennedy, stuck up for him, stood by him," but "We are repaid with his abandonment. He's picked the new guy over us. He's joined the list of progressive white men who can't or won't handle the prospect of a woman president who is Hillary Clinton."

Pappas blasted several other people and Democratic groups, including national Democratic Chairman Howard Dean, Progressive Democrats of America, democrats.com, and "Kucinich lovers and all the other groups that take women's money, say they'll do feminist and womens rights issues one of these days, and conveniently forget to mention women and children when they talk about poverty or human needs or America's future or whatever."

I'll tell you what pisses me off: yesterday, I watched the cunt Bush deliver a pathetic speech to an assembly - supposed to be representative of the interests of the whole country - made nearly entirely of old white men.

Kittinsol, Kennedy's been in the senate for FOURTY SIX YEARS now.
This is why we need term limits!
And  most of those old white men have been in office for decades!
Two terms in the senate is enough for anyone. (12 years)
Wow, now I want to see Hillary Clinton beat Obama in the primaries just so she can rub it in that slob Kennedy's face!
