darned site asked what language.  --ok- browsing these brushes- motorized- is one thing but ultra-sound is another. specifically- cheapest brush?  ?   $170, $18. and is it worth the bother?   they say to replace tooth brush often and to nuke 10 secs.

ok- you cut thru the noise- whats your conclussion?

Status: offline 		My Father had to stop using any form of motorised toothbrush as the vibrations were destroying his teeth without him knowing. I'd be very careful using any motorised toothbrush if I were you, especially an ultra-sonic one.

Status: offline 		'Motorized' toothbrushes and ultrasonic ones are two different things. The cheap ones are like little grinding wheels spinning around, and I can see where they might wear on some teeth... the ultrasonic brush 'shakes' for lack of a better term, debris and stuff loose.

As far as I can tell, the sonic brush run by batteries does just as good a job as the more expensive rechargeable one.

Status: offline 		Yep, they do work, and very well, too! They're worth the bucks when it comes to knocking off nicotine and coffee stains, tightening up the gumline, and shaking loose plaque and crap like that...I've had my Sonicare for more than 6 years, changing heads every 6 months, and on the whiteness scale at the dental office, mine are A-1 with no cosmetic bleaching. Helps that I don't smoke or drink coffee or tea, too.

Status: offline 		The cheap ones by colgate that you insert AA batteries forget they are worthless

The rechargable ones are good and a worthwhile investment much better at keeping the plaque away then a manual tooth brush the more expensive the faster the revolutions  on them.   I buy the braun toothbrushes   Oral -bs,   they are lower priced  than the sonic care and a toothbrush base will last years.  Initially when I first bought my dentist thought they were a bad idea  but when he suggested going back to a manual brush, there was a notable increased build up of  plaque on my teeth so he did say go back to using, though he still at the time had his doubts about them overall ,  years later he now recommends them.  especially for clients who are developing peridontal disease. or to those who have more porous teeth that results in faster  plaque build up.

Status: offline 		Ofcourse it's better. The sonicare is automatic, it's systematic, it's hydromatic and turbomatic. It's even sonimatic. It's the Tooth Brushin Teeth Whitening. Go Teeth Whitening.

No, but when He bought new brushes i asked for his old one and He asked why, so i told Him i wanted to try it down there.
