Hey! I just finished a big piece of Boston Creme Pie and then went online to find out that it's "National Pie Day!
That has to be my favorite, Boston Cream Pie!
Anyone else celebratiing National Pie day?

Hmm, I may celebrate some more later on tonight!

PIE!

I haven't had an oppurtunity to go by the dining hall yet today, but I'll try to see if they're celebrating it at the dessert bar.  ;)

Thats funny- i just brought the neighbor over a small pie- apple. i had extra.

CuriousLord -> RE: National Pie Day (1/23/2008 4:05:09 PM)

That was nice of you, pahunkboy.  Apple pie sounds like good stuff!

We should all sit back and watch American Pie with pie for dessert tonight as a celebration of Pie Day!

Pie Day-  Freaking awesome because it's not commercialized (as far as I know).  :D

In one of his books, author Frank McCourt ("Angela's Ashes", "'Tis")
wrote that he'd never had lemon meringue pie until he arrived in the U.S. as a young man and that he, "fell in love" with it.

Muff pie!!!!

christine1 -> RE: National Pie Day (1/23/2008 7:29:14 PM)

banana or coconut cream pies are my favorites, oh but then there's brownie pie, geez a girl could go crazy with all the choices.  if i'd have known it was national pie day i would have gotten some, i'll just make a belated celebration out of it tomorrow...works for me!

CuriousLord -> RE: National Pie Day (1/23/2008 7:36:17 PM)

I'm afraid the dinning hall's overlooked the yummy goodness of Pie Day.

We should start a tradition of making punishment for failing to observe Pie Day to be getting a pie in one's face!  (Only any sane person would probably eat most of the pie before throwing it...)  :P

This is always a very good holiday to celebrate.

March 14th is now officially "Steak and Blowjob Day".

But that's already Pi Day!  (March 14th = 3/14 -> 3.14 = ~pi)

Ah wells.  I guess I'll have to get my freak on at the same time I get my geek on.  I'm sure they'll get along.

Considering I just finished talking about getting my freak and geek on at the same time, this does sound suspiciously like a proposition.  ;)

March 14 also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday.

The stars must've aligned for that man.  He came in at a good time and had some nice oppurtunities.. that, along with his brilliance, really worked out nicely.
