Poor old guy. Still, if you were to think that everyone who dozed off during a long-winded lecture didn't care about the lecture's topic, you'd probably conclude I hate Math, Physics, Engineering, and other sorts of things. ;) I would also mention Chemistry, but the jury's still out on whether or not I do hate it still.

CL, but it wasn't a lecture, it was a memorial Celebration. He didn't pay to attend and if he sleeps its his money and time wasted, like a lecture. He was invited to participate and bring the level of respect and dignity that comes with the Former President of the USA sitting behind you as you speak. And he was sitting right behind the Speaker up on the stage. He was there to honor MLK, as part of the ceremony. And he was slouched up and dozing off. But as he is a Democrat, it is not news or worth comment on.

Dozing off in front of the cameras during a campaign is an entry-level no-no. Going from a beloved (by many) ex-President to an integral part of a run is going to be tough. Anybody think he's gotten more discrete with his affairs, flings, and blowjobs, or just become complacent enough to believe nobody cares? And yes, if Hillary gets the nomination, the press will go looking.

I'm genuinely impressed at his efforts to improve race relations. Clearly, he's filled with enthusiasm to bring vibrant social change to the underpriviledged masses. I hope the Nobel awards committee was on hand. Stephan

never said i hated clinton i just hate people whose opinions and ethics can be bought and sold at the drop of a dime. which pretty much means the entire political process. too bad we couldnt just eradicate washington dc and start over with normal hard working people who know what its like to struggle might get a lot more accomplished other than polishing someones pocketbook.

According to the Huckabee thread the ceremony was nearly four hours long... Now, I can't believe I'm sticking up for Bill Clinton, but I hardly blame the man. Long-winded quasi religious events like that knock me right out, too!
