Opps, I forgot T.V. Guide and Reader’s Digest – probably because I buy them off the rack.

am i the only one who reads People magazine every week? or am i just the first to confess to it...

I refuse to read People magazine on the same general principles that I refuse to watch American Idol – but I do confess to being tempted once or twice (it was probably for Jill Hennessy).

Penthouse Variations (a guilty pleasure)

A mainstay of my early teen years (I swiped them from my oldest sister’s bedroom). Although I "officially" blame John Norman for my "corruption," variations was definitely an accomplice.

I guess I don't subscribe to any magazines now.  I used to have a subscriprion to "Seventeen" when I was about 14, if that says anything.  Oh, and there's the Real Simple mag I occaisionally pick up at the supermarket nowadays, along with maybe the random cooking magazine.

Forgot the occaisional Conde Nast Traveler, too.  :)

i would have edited it, but it wouldn't let me... :(

The Sun appears to be a magazine with a political edge to it.  While Mother Earth news is all about the environment.  Solar...plants...etc
Don't know if I'd become a subscriber..not much into politics but they are all around me.

For those who purchase subscriptions like we do.  Between the two of us we probably subscribe to about 20 magazines a year..which get costly.  Anyway, I noticed about 6 months ago that when you are a preferred reader.  Which we all are if we subscribe.  They pretty much rip you off on your subscription price.
Doesn't seem to matter what magazine it is either.  If you go to their website the price is always much cheaper to subscribe there.  Mother Earth news wanted something like 25 a year on paper.  It was ten dollars a year.  Nothing different, you still get the magazine in your mailbox.  Just so much cheaper.
Sports Illustrated was another serious rip off.  They wanted something like 98 for a year..I ordered on the web for around 60.

I read Time Magazine, US News and World Report, Entertainment, sometimes People and my favorite is Mental Floss, a magazine that is full of historical trivia.
