I, personally, wouldn't actually call it perfect unless it's very low and you can hold it for at least a minute or possibly longer. This is a simple one for greeting though. http://www.wikihow.com/Curtsey

Ballet taught me how to curtsey gratefully, properly or comically, if needed be. quote: There is no set technique for a reverance, but generally speaking the dancer will take a large step to the side, placing the other foot behind so that both knees are in the same line. The foot behind is fully stretched with the top of the toes against the floor, as in a preparation position. At the same time as the first step the dancer opens her arms wide--the arms can go through any position to get to a la seconde--and inclines the head as she bends both knees. From “The Young Lady’s Book”, Boston 1830, pg 417: “The performance of the curtsey in a proper manner, proves a matter of difficulty to some young ladies, but it will be found very easy, after a little practice, to curtsey with grace, if proper directions be given and attended to. The following is the usual mode: The front foot is first brought into the second position; the other is then drawn into the third behind, and passed immediately into the fourth behind, the whole weight of the body being thrown on the front foot; the front knee is then bent, the body gently sinks, the whole weight is transferred to the foot behind while rising, and the front foot is gradually brought into the fourth position. The arms should be gracefully bent, and the hands occupied in lightly holding out dress. The first step in walking, after the curtsey, is made with the foot which happens to be forward at its completion. One has to be aware of context as well, for instance there is a world of difference between: a barely perceptible bob from a maid to acknowledge a reminder given by her Mistress via by brief eye-contact alone, and the kind of full C17 reverence I was accustomed to receiving from housemaids whilst playing the Lord of The Manor in historical re-enactment. Each of the many levels is different, but each can perfect for the moment.

Having just looked at the URLs quoted, if my girl curtsied to me exactly in any of those ways, I'd have her practise until she did it the way I want it. I guess that answers the OP's question. The right way for a girl to to curtsy is the way your Master or Mistress wants you to. If you're the Master or Mistress, train your girl to do it your way!

I curtsy every morning before my Sir puts on my collar. A lovely Domme and her boi taught me the proper way to curtsy. At first I thought it was the silliest thing to do but now I really enjoy it and he loves it. [:)]

I usually kneel. i studied aikido and the 'sitting' position is a type of sitting/kneeling and this has helped me to kneel without my legs going numb. he can look at me and i will kneel. CP i am an anarchist that is why i am a slave. No state, no doctrine, no religion, no-one owns me except Him. i don't follow a path except quite naturally i tend to walk slightly behind Him when we are out together and more so i walk totally behind Him when leaving His house and so on. There is little which is typical of 'the path' about us and in any case i am just allergic to the UK class system and that bowing and curtseying malarky that i was indoctrinated with as a child.
