I can't get into manicures or pedicures.  I think I got a few people who were just very rough and too talkative- and I'm always just paranoid about infections or stuff.

Now massages- if I had the money, I'd do a long session every other day just for my shoulders.  Luckily my partner keeps me fairly well pampered and I go pro on occasion.

Wax dips are worth the money !! You can also get the machines for home use .. I have two .. one for my hands and feet and another for play time !! they are wonderful .. and even Dr recommended for those with joint issues

I love pedicures too, but haven't had a wax dip though.
The massage chairs are awesome and the guys are fairly easy on the eyes too.
I remember one guy who gave the bestest foot massage I have ever received, omg!
I enjoy my iced coffee while receiving my pedicure, ahhhhh...

I wish I could find a massage school up here.. there is a beauty school, but schools are the only way I can afford "professionals." Still, all this talk about manicures and pedicures is making me want to go pamper myself... maybe I can get Daddy to agree to a set amount I can go spend at the local beauty school to make myself feel all purty and relaxed. :D

satan and i went last week.  she got a pedi and her nails redone, i got the pedi (her treat).

never again.  apparently i've now got to the point of far too much nerve damage for anyone to touch my feet (which i had suspected already) and it just wasnt pleasant.

i do like the color nail polish i have now, though.

Well i guess i'm not alone in enjoying this then.

Are you kidding? I go every week for a manicure/pedicure and get a professional massage every month. You need to take care of yourself.

I knew I saw a kindred spirit in you sexyred!

I wish I could say my first professional pedicure was as wonderful as yours. Mine was back in 2002 and I was in school at the time. I had posted this on a forum on a different site.

Today I had my very first professional pedicure. I usually do them myself, but I got a gift certificate to a nail place.

Well, as I expected, it was torture. I was squirming and biting the top of my diet coke bottle, but the squeals still came out loud and clear. The young guy giving me the pedicure had this shit eating grin on his face and kept saying, "Does that tickle"? That of course made it worse and all I could do was nod.

To make matters worse, the lady in the pedicure chair next to me is a professor in my department at college. She just looked at me smiling, but did not say a word. All the professors talk to each other. I dread going to school Monday.

I've never gotten a pedicure, doubt I will any time soon. I keep thinking about it on and off but I worry about getting some kind of fungus, or skin problem like I got from getting my eyebrow's waxed.

Me too.  I have never had a wax dip during a pedicure.  Sounds lovely, though.  My esthitician does those, but that's extra.

Yeah, the wax dip. After the feet are soaked, scurbed, and toe nails taken care off, I have my feet diped in a small tub of warm wax. The wax is specially formulated with lotion/vitames Es/Oils. When your foot comes out, the wax peels off prior to the post opp tissue massage.

One of the duties of my slave is to give me regular manicures, pedicures, and massages. And these are professional style with all the correct tools, ointments for my cuticles, a bubbling foot tub, pumicing and everything.

I'm looking into either making or buying a massage table also, for our home gym space. In truth these are better than pro massages because they are usually in the way of a "massage that ends in a smile." I guess it depends on the kinds of pros one goes to.

It's the only way to fly...
