For those of you who have collars like the eternity collar and other turian style collars held together by a screw. My screw goes all the way through the collar...and it commonly works itself out almost daily. Daddy is constantly having to adjust it to keep it from falling all the way out. Is there anyway, short of locktite (I dont want to make it compleatly impossible to take off) to keep the screw from falling out the bottom?

Have you tried something like dabbing rubber cement on the threads, letting it dry, then rescrewing it?  It might give it enough extra gripping power to keep it in place.

Loctite won't make it impossible to remove, if you use the right Loctite.  Loctite 222 is a low strength threadlocker that prevents fasteners from vibrating out but is easily removable with hand tools.  It should be fine for what you need.

Loctite 222 is good, you may want to check the screw and the socket for any thread wear as well.  Also clean the screw and the socket before adding the Loctite 222.  Pipe cleaners and a small brush work well, I use Rubbing Alcohol for a cleaning soluation, it does not  cause rust.  If you don't have Loctite 222 you can use clear nail polish, a laquar based one works best.  The is the one that when you open the bottle you get a smell.

There is a new hi-tech device on the market.  It is called a lock washer.[;)]

Oh c'mon Ghita, use superglue in it!
It should be impossible to get off!
I'm one of those who think a collar is *permanent*, that's true *ownership.*
