Actually , it is not so interesting. Why complicate things when you don't need to. People have been asking other people to marry them for ages. Just ask. Just like a non-lifestyler would. Be romantic.

I'm a submissive. I've figured that if I'm ever going to marry my dominant, she's probably going to bring up the subject because she feels it's the next step in our relationship.
