That same sort of thing was done on the film ' Highlander ' a favourite film, the first one that is.Highlander the series was pure crap, I watched a few, then forgot they existed, as they in my oppinion ruined the movie, then there was ' Highlander ' part two, WTF, whose idea was that!Did it happen, or was it a dream?

Part three, well, it was ok, an apology of sorts I suppose for part two, but not a patch on the original.

I've always thought that Phillip K Dick's "Second Variety", was a closer inspiration, but hey, I'm sure Ellison's Lawyers made a good case for Cameron to write a "STFU and Go Away" check and credit...
