Now I am working from home, so I don't have that option.  The last two companies I worked at didn't even have a cafeteria on premises, so it wasn't an option there, either.  The company prior to that did, but it was some of the most awful food I ever tasted in my life, so I avoided their cafeteria at all costs.

TPBM is considered a good cook.

Do you know what Thanksgiving dinner will consist of?

yes i do

i am cooking..as usual

Traditional style meal.. but im doing a few things differently this year

Turkey..mashed potatoes and gravy of course

But.. my squash is going to be fresh produce this year..rather then canned... Acorn squash this year.
And instead of canned sweet potatoes.. ill be baking sweet potatoes...and providing real butter, and brown sugar..as toppings.
And for dessert this year.. ill be baking pumpkin pies.. of which i wont be using canned pumpkin.. but fresh sugar pumpkins.

So... TPBM.. what is your favorite holiday?

Thanksgiving.  I happened to have been born on that holiday, though my birthday only falls on that day once every 7 years.

TPBM has milked a cow.

No, but I've milked a goat.

TPBM has witnessed both birth and death.

Yes I have. As a former veterinarian's assistant I have seen both. I have not witnessed human birth or death firsthand, at least not as far as actually being present at those moments.

TPBM is really wanting to be a delinquent today but has to play the part of a responsible individual and do the things that are necessary.

You know me so well.  I shall shortly be signing out to do all the things that must be done today even though I would rather spend the time doing other things that are much less productive.

TPBM has never taken a sick day from work when they were not actually sick.

This is true. The places that I worked that had paid sick days as part of the benefits package also had an equal number of paid personal days to use, so there was no need for me to dip into the sick day pool.

TPBM is waiting for something to arrive in the mail.

I'm not waiting for anything in particular, although I do like receiving mail.

TPBM is particularly looking forward to dinner this evening.

Not anymore.  My deceased Grandma on my Dad's side of the family used to curse in German, but I don't remember what she said.

TPBM studied a foreign language in school.

I studied two foreign languages in school.  But that was standard at my school.

TPBM wishes they had more time to read.

I have the time, I just don't have the eyeballs for it. Paper books are difficult for me to focus on. If the book is in form I can read on my iBook, I'll do that but not too many are right now (though, the selection is starting to get better).

TPBM goes all out in everything they do.

Very much so.  How else will I fully experience it?

TPBM enjoys jigsaw puzzles.

Yes I do. I especially like the puzzles from Buffalo Game Inc. as they have some pretty unique and frustrating, at times, puzzles. I was given their "Lost in a Jigsaw II - Survival of the Fittest" maze type puzzle as a gift and though it's only a 350 piece puzzle, each piece is cut out exactly the same as every other. Quite a challenge to put it together without looking at the box.

TPBM will sometimes get lost in time and thought while doing something.

Most of the time, yes.  That is usually how I do things.

TPBM thinks very carefully before making decisions.

Let me get back to you on that...

TPBM watched the time lapse Globe puzzle assembly on sappa's post.

I most certainly did!

TPBM has changed their hair color at least once in their life.

Well, sort of changed.  i'm trying to keep it the original color.  It keeps getting white roots....dang!

TPBM will let her hair go grey or white when she gets old and NOT color it.

Very true.  My mother told me from a very young age to let it come in naturally.

TPBM has an ailment that needs tending to.
