I like nonfiction, but generally history or biography.

Not usually, but if a friend with a daughter approaches me I will.  I love the new option of buying them and having them sent to people in the service so I don't see and eat them, yet help the girl scouts out.

TPBM  is an avid reader.

Just one i bought today - pothos - clean air and all that.  (The plant is listed as "toxic to cats, toxic to dogs" by the ASPCA, due to the presence of insoluble calcium oxalates.)  
 
TPBM can't have my plant in their home.
