Gah, the more I have, the more possibilities of losing them . . . . . I lost one last winter & it sucks & I have to work at keeping my anxiety levels reasonable these days . . . . My grama has outlived 2 of her 4 children, & that sucks . . . . . . I've given my offspring orders that they are to outlive me, cuz that's one of my worst fears, now . . . .

TPBM shares a great joy . . . .

Encountering you.

I DARE you to even ATTEMPT painting that as a suck up.

TPBM has , on occasion, been feeling really down about themselves, then came across something they did YEARRRRRRRRRRRRS ago, that still "holds up" (even if just a reply to a post or greeting card you designed) and realized...

"Hey.  Yeah.  I AM a good person, I DO make things a little better in this fucked up universe..."

lol

I live with two out of three of my adult offspring -- they are all both my 'biggest mistake' (unwed teen mom on welfare) & my greatest achievement . . ..

TPBM likes comic books, & shares some of their favorites, if so . . . .

oh, this will take a moment considering what I said on the AAZ fictional thread and Muxic Mystery just chimed in...

short list then long list

The Spirit (original)
FF (from '63 to '69)
Nick Fury (when done by Steranko)
anything Kirby from '63-70
The initial Conans by Barry Windsor Smith
D'arc Tangent (Folio; don;t ask)

more VERY soon,

TPBM "gets" comics and sometimes realizes that if writing/creative demands on TV and Hollywood were as stringent upon the silver screen and small screen as they were on comics, there's be MUCH BETTER TV and films out there more regularly

Yeah, it's more of a renegade / indie kinda thing as compared to film / teevee, much smaller audiences can lead to better servicing the needs of said audience .. . .

TPBM sometimes has trouble coming up with the next question or statement in these games . . . .

yes, but not in THIS case (line got cut off from an overseas call; in all other cases, yes, MY fault).

tpbm  is TOLERANT of people whom enjoy BAD remakes pf GOOD films, but they theselves grit their teeth over such "Gus Van Zant" style tripo-matic faire.

Sometimes, sometimes I like 'bad' flicks . . . .

TPBM tells what they think or feel about ventriloquism & ventriloquist dummies . . . .

No, I stopped going to concerts when I paid 100 bucks to see David Bowie, could not see him at all, just a screen, and a 15 year old puked on me.
TPBM has an almost embarassingly large collection of music, and has one band that occupies most of it...
