Not recently, but we are planning on planting one in the new house. So far we have discussed wanting tomatoes and peppers. I think watermelon would be cool. My last experience planting watermelon had little field mice running under my back fence and digging/chewing holes in the melons to get to the fruit.

The pbm loves rainy days.

Loves would be a bit much, but rainy days are nice, i suppose.  i really love falling asleep listening to the rain at night, though.

TPBM loves rainbow sherbert ice cream.

Not so much anymore, but when the offspring were young it was our Sunday ritual to listen to Car Talk, Garrison, the folk music shows, & Harry Shearer's Le Show . . . . . (We didn't do teevee, mostly . .. . )

TPBM has lived without a television for a year or more . . . .

Good lord YES!  I LOVE cartoons!  The old loony tunes are the best, and how the grinch stole christmas.  Anything that Chuck Jones touched is pure gold to me.  I worship the ground that man walked on.  Jones, the Freelings, Avery, Blanc, Stalling, Fleischman.  They just don't make em like that anymore.

TPBM wonders when theys stopped showing saturday morning cartoons...

Yes, i wondered and checked Wiki - A parents lobby group had concerns about the presentation of "commercialism, violence, anti-social attitudes and stereotypes".  i think the cartoons were pretty much gone by the 1990's.  Also a lot of children's videos were available - so parents did their own "programming" without the commercials.

TPBM takes a nap on Sunday afternoons.
