If you don't want to be identified (which i can understand) put it in your profile that you will send a picture upon request. That's what i did in the begining Then i just put it up.

I used the cut off head photos at first because of concerns about being identified, I work at a place where there are 2000 male co-workers and was a bit concerned about the reactions if someone found, over time I finally came to accept that if they are here they are likely in the lifestyle too, so would have to admit being a kinkster and would be outing themselves, so I stopped worrying about


As for revealing pictures,  the one I have in my album that is the most revealing has produced the least amount of negative comment emails when I had as my main profile picture, if anything garnered more respect. It also indentified me strongly as submissive so I had less emails from submissives looking for someone to top them. My current main photo interestingly has produced the greatest number of emails moreso than my backside showing, though my photos maybe described as sexual I don't find myself getting a large number of wankers emailing me, I found I get far less here than I had on prior vanilla sites without a photo of a sexual nature.  If I do get comments on my photos from those who enjoying perving photo they tend to be highly respectful
I think too many make the assumption that revealing equates with sex automatically  for example if you look at photos of the statue of David or Venus de Milo would the first thing that would enter your mind  be fucking??? or the beauty or gracefulness of?

Status: offline 		I don't have a picture at all.  If I did it would not show my face.  Bdsm is not my life and anonymity is important to me. Additionally, I believe that people should look beyond the surface when getting to know someone. 

I don't believe that someone that posts nude or provocative pictures is attempting to attract negative attention, although they may get more of it because of the picture.  However, negative attention is pretty much par for the course here for everyone to some extent.  I sure wouldn't change my approach in how I express myself for trolls personally.  Nor do nude/provocative pictures imply anything negative sexually about someone. To suggest it does reminds me of the whole she deserved to be raped because she wore a skirt mentality.  Not appealing.

One must open their minds to the fact that their way isn't the only way and they may actually learn something if they listen to why people do things other ways instead of constantly pointing out what they believe everyone else does wrong.  We are not the behavior police, very far from it, in fact attempting to be such is laughable here.  It's a BDSM D/s board the object is to support each other despite our differences in approach to the lifestyle.
