Does collarme have its own munch like alt does?

I used to post on alt until I found collarme to be more friendly - but one thing I missed about alt was the munches for the northern california pervs which was held in Sacramento and San Jose alternatively.

Does collarme have a similar northern california chat and/or munch? If not, has anyone an idea how to start one? Has it been done before?

You can start you own chat room here on collarme who knows what it could grow into...We try once a year during the summer have a weekend for our friends to come,camp out and enjoy the kink in the country....Yes collarme is a lot friendly then alt,I don't know why I keep a gold membership there..

Alt have their own munch? never knew that, I wonder if they'll have any in U.K.

Status: offline 		You can start your own munch. Michigan has a lot of munches. Be careful of what you ask for because it can grow to big for you to handle.

i've never been to one at all. Can someone give me a general idea of what happens at a munch?

Status: offline 		Munches are typically just a gathering at a restaurant for a meal.   You pay your own.   It's just a good place to meet other folks in BDSM in a casual, no-pressure atmosphere.

Because it's a public venue, be on your best vanilla behavior.   Save the fetish wear, toys, etc for an appropriate venue.

Status: offline 		I run our local munch.  Getting it started is easy.  Keeping it going and growing is the difficult part.  We have a yahoogroup as the base of our communication.  We try to get topics going as well as posting things which may be funny or relative to what we know about one another.
Its a pretty friendly munch.  And that is the key I think.  Keep it friendly, encourage people to be more than just bdsm, and continue to get the word around about your group.
To that end, I just joined tribe.net.

Status: offline 		I agree with Missokyst - keeping it going is the hard part. I've been to all the munches local to San Jose, for example, including the alt norcal munches, yet, I'm not a "regular" member ... so, like the titty bars, it must be someone *else* that is keeping them in business so there there when I'm there.

I tried to find the schedule for the Campbell, Palo Alto, etc. munches which used to be on smodyssey's web pages as a calendar but couldn't find it for some reason. Dunny why. I know the Campbell munch is every Friday at 6pm in the Pruneyard, and I think Palo Alto is every other Wednesday (is it still?) but maybe someone else has the list for that.
