Thank you for sharing.

FR-

Not my idea of a poetic masterpiece, but whatever floats your boat.

TM... thanks for pointing out the obvious...

I didn't take credit for this in ANY way and only posted it as it was received... it was posted exactly the same way on b.com but there another user was kind enough to tell me (in a mature and intelligent manner) who the writer was (instead of having a major meltdown over it) and even provided a link to Sir Wolfr's site where a lot more of his work can be found (his site can be found at
http://www.atruerose.com/Library/poetry/SirWolf-poetry/wolfFrameset-1.htm if anyone is interested in seeing more)

I should note that as soon as I learned of the identity of the writer I posted to give him credit for this poem there and came here to do the same... hardly the way anyone who practices Plagarism  does things, hmmm?

As for you the.dark, if you'll look at every post I ever made here or b.com I sign EVERYTHING I post so it is not like I was taking credit for anything other than posting this so others could see it...

It's obvious you have nothing else to do than try to start shit over nothing... you'll notice everyone else "got" the concept of "author unknown" except you, so instead of trying to make a mountain out of a molehill perhaps you should read posts a little more carefully... It was obvious to everyone (but you) that I was trying to bring attention to a piece of poetry not myself...

The poem is 94 lines and you focus on 3 letters at the end of it AFTER "author unknown"... very weird!

In case you have missed it, please read carefully (since you only read the end of posts anyway and it is doubtful that you just "got" anything I said )

Credit for this poem to Sir Wolfr... for more of his work check out his site here:

Plagarism [sic] is one of the worst forms of 'admiration'.

Plagiarism is claiming someone else's work as your own.  This wasn't that, only that the author was unknown, which you in due course, rectified.

Thank you... nice to see reason, maturity and intelligence represented here! [:)]

It is always so simple to write what you would have done, when it has been done for you.  Why did it take other people to do the work for you?

As I said, if you had cared about the words and the writer, you would have done your homework correctly before posting it.  That way, no one is misrepresented nor are words or actions misinterpreted.
And if you cannot take constructive critique, that is responsibilty you have only to yourself.
Have a good evening.

Pure gold??  More like sappy, cheesy doggerel.
And nobody better disagree with me ‘cuz like Gilbert Grape’s brother, “I could go at anytime.”

To the OP....beyond all the cynacism being spouted..I can appreciate the thought and the sentiment behind the writing..it appealed even to the wee bit of romantacism I have left..I did not get the impression that you were claiming to be the author of this piece..I understood it to be someone elses writing perfectly clearly..so thus, passive aggression aside from those who need to put some down in order to feel good about themselves..I say thank you for bringing this writing to the attention of some who may enjoy its sentiment....Tempting

i just think it is a nice way to remember we dont always know how long we have with those who we love ... reminded me of "last kiss~ remade by pearl jam but i dont remember the original artist" then again ... i think im pretty sappy sometimes lol

Prinsexx -> RE: Purest Gold (1/19/2008 12:57:25 AM)

so very beautiful......
My Master survived a major accident and surgery years ago.......He told me (the first time we met) that the terrible injuries and the disability that the accident left Him with, forced the choice upon Him between suicide or amputation. We are both thankful now, I believe, that he survived both.
ed to add: However if I sent Him a copy to read (if He hasn't already done so) He would vomit....as the last thing He is is sentimental about thsoe who submit to Him. Nor does He ever write poetry or waxw lyrical about the reality of life after surgery.
