Status: offline 		Ok, with a spate of links forty miles long, I thought I'd point out how to make links here.

In your 'New Post' window that pops up when you start a new thread or reply, there's a bunch of tools.  One of them, towards the far right, just to the right of the big underlined A there's a button with a tiny world, and a bit of chain.  That's the 'make a link' box.

Simply highlight any word(s).  Then click the 'make a link' box.  A window will pop up.  Paste the link into that window.  Voila, you have made that word into a link.

Status: offline 		I dont know. When I make a link on the page all I do is write the link, perview, make sure the link looks good then submit. The entry seems to know its a link and turns it into one without doing waht you suggested. So both could work.

If you go to My Profile on this page (upper right in gold) and go slosh around until you see the Signature box, you will see the little button that says PGD code.......this will tell you most of the fancy shit you can do here, and how to do it, note that there is a change, and you may not post images in your posts, (not that you cant) it is now against TOS.....so print off the screens from PGD Code when you are in there, and you have the manual way to do it.

There's some links in this message to images that should make it easier.

Highlight the text you want to make a link from...

(Highlight)

Then click the Link button

(link)

Then paste (or type) the link you want the person to go to in the box that pops up.

(popup box)

Repeat as necessary.

Serve well chilled.

BTW, I load all of these images to a site called http:/imageshack.us ; it gives free web hosting for images, and near the bottom has a 'direct link' that you just click once the image is uploaded.  It's where you find the images for this tutorial.

Actually, allposters doesn't want people doing...well...exactly what you did.  It's to prevent people from using their pictures for their own sites.  You can only get to it by actually visiting the site.

So I did, saved the file, and uploaded it to imageshack
