Considering what this man's gone through, they probably should drop the armed robbery charge in favor of a lighter charge. Such as public indecency, for busting a nut in public.

Wow, first time for me to read that someone shot himself. In the past, it has always been the fault of the gun when shootings occured. It's about time that people started taking responsiblity that guns can't shoot people. People with guns can shoot people including themselves. Great title for the OP.

LOL! Priceless! I heard of a similar one where the robber had sawed off the trigger-guard of his weapon because it looked "more macho", then stuffed it into waistband as he accepted the sack of money from the clerk. Sure enough,the pistol discharged, and blew away the family jewels!
