Yes, I noticed that. Oh well, I don't mind working for it a little.

Lawdy!
Talk about bringing back memories!
Some of those are from when I was young..not just younger!
Tommy James and the Shondels? Lawdy!
Yeah yeah..I'm aging myself..that's ok tho..took me a long time to get here..yet..in only a blink of an eye.

Thanks for sharing these links, I'm truely enjoying reliving some of those moments in time.

Feric -> RE: Blast from the past (1/17/2008 12:16:43 PM)

Thanks for that! It brings back additional memories:

I had a buddy who was a two-tour Vietnam Vet. When he visited my apartment, he'd always put on The Doors, and sit there lost in the memories. He told me once that he was badly wounded after a firefight and as he was airlifted out, he could hear the lyrics of Jim Morrison's "The End". His last conscious thought was, "God! This is fitting!" He didn't die, of course, but he thought he was going to.

Sadly, I lost touch with him about fifteen years ago, and only recently found out that he died in 1995. This site makes me remember his quiet wisdom. Thanks for posting it!

A good music site I found is www.pandora.com

You put in a band name and it plays music that's similar.
