Clear your cookies out on your personals side and you should be able to log out.,

I have tried EVERYthing!! ... Well, everything I can think of, so far....

I cannot log into CollarMe.com, although I was able to log in here to the MessageBoards. I have tried for well-over a week to log into CM, without any success. (and nothing about my pc has changed in that time)
Everytime I try to log in, it returns to the same page.

I read everyone's suggestions and tried them all; nothing worked. Grrrrrr!! Normally, I use IE, so I even downloaded FireFox and it did not work any differently. CM just does not allow me to login. *pout*

I am so frustrated! Does anyone in CM care about this problem?? Is there anyone "serving" in TechSupport? (Oh wait, that would mean TechSupport was a Dom/me??) LOL

Please someone help!!

Have you clicked login reminder, to make sure you are inputting correct password?

Mod 11 is not support, if the poster would answer my questions, I may or may not be able to help. I'm sure Mod 11 would tell her the same thing too. I'm just wondering since the other things helped all the other users, what page she keeps returning to.

well first things first everybody go to start> Ie (whatever browser) and right click, take properties, delete all cookies etc.

run disk cleanup in start > accessories> system Programs> (check all cleanup boxes)

then shutdown completely .....wait a couple minutes and boot

that is going to cure 99% of the problems out here.

kc,

When this was happening to me - I would enter my username and password and it would just bring me back to the home page. If I selected "Message Boards", it showed me as logged in. My only choices were Home, Message Boards, Browse Photos, BDSM Movies.

I had to adjust my personal firewall settings to fix it.

ps...I am such a dork - I private messaged the OP with this same information. She can't get her messages...

Thank you kc... to answer your question, yes I made sure I had the correct password. I tried several ways to access my account. Each time I entered my Login name and password, it returned to the CM Home page. When I entered an incorrect password, the window noted an invalid password. When I entered the correct password, the window returned to the CM Home page, again, without letting me login. So annoying!!

So, I returned here to the boards earlier today and read everyone's suggestions. Thank you all!! I followed mnottertail's directions, a couple of times. (I dump cookies and cache daily, but I followed those instructions specifically.) Unfortunately, they did not work for me.

Nohalo, thank you for your observations. Popeye, it seemed several folks have this problem. Mine began without warning and I had not made any chnages to my pc settings prior to the login problem.

However, the CM Gremlins lost this battle... thanks to each of you.. the inspiration was there. Here is what worked for me....

Just deleting cookies and resetting firewall parameters were not enough, apparently. I finally had to delete my firewall and reinstall it. I reset my preferences and privacy levels again. This did the trick. For some reason, actually uninstalling and reinstalling the firewall made the difference. I have no idea why, because everything is set exactly the same as before, but nonetheless, it worked.

Thank you all for your wisdom and patience.

I hope my solution will help someone else, albeit a pain to have to reinstall and reset everything. The magic must be in the persistence and patience. Thanks again, A/all!!
