Status: offline 		ARLINGTON, Ore. - Some residents of this small town wish their mayor felt like she had something to hide.

Mayor Carmen Kontur-Gronquist created a stir with her MySpace page, where at one time anyone could see photos of her on one of the town's fire engines, clad only in a black bra and panties.

Now only her friends have access to the page, but some people in this eastern Oregon community of about 500 are still upset.

actually with all the things i saw growing up in Oregon that's freaking mild! i still recall calling the sheriff where i lived once in Veneta, OR. hours had passed and i kind of forgot about about it.he finaly showed up but to my dismay i was naked and getting ready to go to a production of RHPS,(soundtrack playing in background). we looked at eachother and burst out laughing,he handed me a towel that was hangin near by and made the comment " I like dressing up as Janet and going to the shows but my wife hates it when i cross dress."

then there was the OCA who tried to list homosexuals with child molesters(running joke was leaders wife was a hard core BDSM Mistress).

even compared to all of that stuff. Hey if the mayor wants to pose half nude on a local firetruck.more power to her as long as she didn't use tax payers money to get the firefighters to let her do so.

gotta love any news like that from a state who's primary mascot are beavers

Age is just a number. I don't see why because she's adult she's automatically barred from myspace.
Not that I like myspace and it is over run by young brats and bad music or celebs trying to network but I don't think it's limited ONLY for such people.

Either way, a bikini new a fire truck is nothing. When I read the title about photos causing a stir I was expecting full on nudity or graphic sex.

Status: offline 		I have a myspace page... *sigh*  I was drunk and bored one night, so I signed up.  It's now blocked (friends only)..got tired of all the invites from strangers.  Only reason I pay any attention to it now is to keep up with my cousin's band, and a couple of friends.

Re; the OP.. I think it's telling that she only got recalled by 3 votes... bet if she waited a couple of election cycles, she'd have a shot at it again.
