Somebody once suggested a way for female subs to deal with the problem.

Their suggestion started by the woman posting some profile that was absolute bullshit written so that no Dom in his right mind would ever be interested in the person.

For three months she'd make a list of everybody who wrote expressing interest. Then she'd post her real profile and set up a kill file with the names of the idiots, con artists, etc. who wrote over the previous three months.

It sounded like a pretty good method.

Sounds like a great method for Female Dominants, also.
There are many ways to find out who most of the assholes are.

Anywho....within one week I got 10 pages worth of email from all walks of life. Males, females, CDs, TSs, Dom, sub, switch from all over the world. The emails kept coming. 90 percent of them were detailed offering me the world and more. I got offered homes with no rent in beautiful areas with horses, stables, ranches and even expensive private homes. Friendships were offered to me from all types of people and I got tons and tons of the most wonderful compliments I have ever gotten in my life. And all this came from people who looked at a half baked profile that was fake from the beginning to the end and barely had any information on it but some shallow words here and there.

Summer,
Don't be bothered by that, I have a pretty good idea that about 99% of the offers you got were just as fake as the profile. People making offers based only on profile data and no further communication are rarely serious.

Oh, shucks, We know that one!
Write a profile as a male, and catch the 'straight' and 'married' guys.

One thing to ask yourself: Do you send out as much mail as you receive?

If no, perhaps you should reevaluate what you expect from others.

It seems to me that you get used to it.

Also, I think it's easier to get email from nuts you know are nuts and just throw it out without reading it than to get email you have to open from nuts who you don' t know are nuts until you open and read it.

I tried to put the stuff that people all over the world want to see

(snip)

Anywho....within one week I got 10 pages worth of email from all walks of life.

Here's me being surprised:

Really, there a lot of profiles on here with minimal information, including people who post regularly in the forums. i'm not sure that i'd be so quick to condemn people for responding to a minimalist profile just because it had Ms. Perfect on it.

i once did a similar experiment, but without pictures... both profiles were honest, except that i made one of them female. Now that was kinda fun

Sounds pretty dumb.  So everyone who sets standards as to the physical appearance of a potential partner is a waste of time?

You folks are either unaware of how the real world operates or more likely hypocrites...Take your pick.

I am so glad that when it came to relationships nobody ever put the ''physical standards'' test on me. I have a growth disorder, that is known and on my profile, always has been on them. I am a beautiful woman with an even more beautiful heart and soul. Those who chose to love me knew this and those that didn't well nothing to say is there.

I have watched your posts summerblossom beginning with the complaint threads regarding Chanukkah etc in the angel outfit and you were ripped apart then by most in the threads. Amazing what a re-work can do for someone eh? What I have gotten from your posts in general is that you must bulk up on your own ego and self esteem before you can expect anyone else to do it for you. You seem like a nice lady but perhaps you don't know that yet. My self esteem was wrecked by age 20 when I was that dancer in your pic here (before that, as a child) and it took many years to pick up the pieces though I have. Besides, if self esteem is very poor or barely in place then we are not ready for love yet.

Now I have true love in a soul mate who loves and appreciates all that I am, good and not so good, to his very core and I in return give the same to him. To him, I am the most gorgeous woman to ever walk the earth and I am at a place now where I can accept that. I never could have in years past. We live the alternative lifestyle that I always have lived though made so so much better by going soul deep. This never ever would have happened for me had I not come to terms with me.

Just my 2 cents and I am around if you want to talk.
