it is probably very obvious as to how to post a quote and a link at the bottom of my replies, but my tiny brain can't seem to figure it out this morning.  can someone please tell me how to do this before i start ripping my hair out?

i got the quote to work, but i can't get the link to work.....sorry to confuse you seeks....

I opened this window by clicking reply on your post
See that cloud with lines in , below the smileys that will show the open and close quote tag.
For link:  click on that bluish circle, end item but one next line down.
Its best that link address is already in the clipboard ie copied.
I got your profile address by clicking on your name then selecting the address that comes up then copy then back to post and then paste.
OK?

adding just copying then pasting a properly structured link address also seems to work ie dont need to go via the bluish circle
