Can anyone help with a messaging problem? - 1/5/2008 7:25:23 PM

For the past few days the number of people receiving my messages has slowly been deteriorating . I have messaged support a few times in the past few days, but either they are really busy or I cannot even message them! Every other feature is working fine for me, and I am receiving messages. In my sent folder, it shows my messages as sent, and eventually received (Sometimes it shows them as read right away, other times a few hours later, it varies). Now NONE of my messages are being received.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Any help would be so so so appreciated.

Thank-you very very much!

The person receiving them could have their filters set so that they never see them.  Not much you can do about that.

By the way, I have no filters set, if you want to try a test message on me.

Thanks for the info guys but it's not just one or two people. No one is getting my replies. So frustrating.... Done a couple tests with friends, the messages aren't going to bulk they are just disappearing. Sigh...

Thanks again.

Thank-you TieNTeas. I did receive, and replied back to you. Don't think you'll get it but will cross my fingers.

No.  And I don't have any filters on (that I know of). Strange.

Yeah, I've done this with a few friends and none of them have received anything. It does show the message to you in my sent, and it also says you read it at 7:40. :(

It says I read it?  That's even weirder.  It's not in my inbox.

I would be too.  I know there were issues or something being done with the site earlier in the week.  Maybe something happened to kill your emails.

I thought of another way you could try to get a message to the people in charge.  You could try clicking on the REPORT button on the lower right corner of these posts.  It would go to the forum moderators.  Hopefully they can get in contact with the site administrator and figure out the problem.

Just start sending me nude photo's and I will let you know when I recieve them.   Since this is a purely scientific exploitation, I suggest you do so twice daily so we can evaluate the diurnal effects as well.

CM sometimes kinks up an account when its set up. Has to be a bug somewhere. I have known alot of people that couldnt get or recieve email and the only cure was to make a new account.

From past history of others, there was nothing that could be done.

But then again I was gone for a year so not sure if there is a fix now.

Thanks, I tried making another profile, and the messages sent from there didn't work either. That was REALLY mind boggling.

I'm having the same problem. It started a few weeks ago with a few messages here and there not getting through - just disappearing. Now none of my messages get sent, although they don't disappear from my sent folder like they were doing. Probably just have to wait until the admins fix it
